  1. Been looking forward to this update! I can confirm the alligator spawner is indeed fixed. The new options also sound really cool, though I haven't had a chance to test those out yet. Many thanks!
  2. Just FYI, it is important to indicate which version of the game the meta files you use were extracted from, as it is substantially different from the version in the most recent client (v1.0.1436.28). I used OpenIV to extract \update_1.rpf\common\packs\base\data\ai\weaponcomponents.meta then compared this to the one from this mod in WinMerge, and there are a lot of structural and value differences just from the base game. This mod probably needs variants for different client versions as installing this would replace these base game changes. Also, it probably needs a walkthrough for people unfamiliar with RD2 modding that explains you need Lenny's Mod Loader, and that the "replace" folder from this mod gets extracted to the \Red Dead Redemption 2\lml folder. HOWEVER, as I said this version of weaponcomponents.meta is very different from the one extracted from v1.0.1436.28 so I wouldn't recommend using it on the latest version of the retail copy of the game until the version supported is clarified. Otherwise it is a really cool mod idea. :)
  3. First, make sure you have the latest version of Script Hook. If that link's download isn't working you can use this mirror for v1.0.1436.25. When installing with Lenny's Simple Trainer, only copy ScriptHookRDR2.dll to your game folder. If you have dinput8.dll in your game folder already, delete it. You might be able to use NativeTrainer.asi together but it uses the same keybind, so I would suggest deleting that too since it just duplicates features. Now install LST. Afterwards, update your version.dll file with the version from the main RDR 2 Asi Loader mod. This is how I got the two working together. @LMSI actually had a couple questions about the above. Is the version.dll in RDT 2 Asi Loader newer than the one packed in this mod? Are there any problems with replacing this mod's version with the one from Asi loader? Also, will there be any conflicts having Script Hook running along side your mod using the method described above? Thanks for everything!
In-game menu is clean and intuitive, and there are plenty of thoughtful options available to customize the behavior. Tested with several spawns and options, and everything is working great! One suggestion is that the description should probably mention this requires Script Hook RDR 2 for those that aren't familiar. Also, the Script Hook official site is buggy (my browser just redirects back to the main blog when clicking download), hence the mirror link above. HOWEVER, from what I am reading the dinput8.dll in Script Hook may not work with RDR2 Build 1436.28, so what I did is copy the ScriptHookRDR2.dll (and optionally NativeTrainer.asi) into the main game folder, then copied the version.dll file from ASI Loader to the same folder. Then I copied this mod there as well, and it all works. :) Awesome mod for people who want to quickly get their character up to speed on a new game, or just test things out. Many thanks!
  4. Hi @TuffyTown. Love the mod idea, however it doesn't seem to work for me... EDIT: Fixed! So the problem was that it requires Script Hook RDR 2 which isn't mentioned. (Also, the Script Hook official site is buggy and the link doesn't seem to work all the time, hence the mirror). Then I copied your mod there as well, and it works. :) One thing though, changing iMenuKey in LASConfig.ini does not appear to do anything, as I changed it to 0x71 (f2) yet it still opens with num 9 only. Anyway, tested a couple spawns and it works great so far. All the other config options can be edited in-game which is nice. Thanks for the mod! EDIT EDIT: One issue to report: The Legendary Alligator (bullgator?) does not spawn when selected. This MIGHT be due to me being on chapter 2, and the game knows somehow the legendary alligator shouldn't spawn until chapter 6. I am hoping there is some way to work around this so that I can still get a legendary alligator hide early for my trapper, but otherwise everything is perfect!
