    RDR2 Title Update 1436.31

Perhaps you are using an older version.dll? If you have version.dll, overwrite it with the one from the ASI loader linked in the article.
  2. Rockstar's latest patch for Red Dead Redemption 2, 1.0.1436.31 has caused many popular RDR2 modifications to stop working. This is expected for game updates, but this particular patch has caused slightly more problems than usual. Why has the Title Update broken my mods? Rockstar makes patches to RDR2 mainly to improve the stability and to add content to Red Dead Online. We don't think Rockstar makes these patches to deliberately impact singleplayer modding, however, singleplayer modding can often be a victim of changes Rockstar make to keep Red Dead Online safer from cheaters. You can read the patch notes of this update here. What do I need to update and what can I update? In the latest update, virtually all modding tools need an update to work with this version. This includes Lenny's Mod Loader, our ASI loader (version.dll), Scripthook RDR2 and RAGE Plugin Hook 2, which is used in our RDRFR sheriff mod. All of these modifications have now been updated for this Title Update. Updates are now available for Lenny's Mod Loader and our ASI loader -- you can find these in our Tools section. Make sure to install these, as they are necessary for a lot of other file-based RDR2 modifications to work. Scripthook RDR2 has been updated for this version, you can find it here. Scripthook RDR2 is necessary for a lot of script-based RDR2 modifications to work. Most of our home grown modifications, like Lenny's Simple Trainer, RDR2 Outfit Changer and Pimp My Horse do not need an update. However, please make sure you're using the latest version.dll from the ASI loader. These mods include an outdated version.dll which will cause your game to crash. RDRFR will require an update. RDRFR has now been updated, and you can download the update here. My game crashes or infinitely loads, how can I fix this? Make sure your using the latest version of Lenny's Mod Loader, as well as the latest ASI loader. Certain mods can include, for example, version.dll so installing them may overwrite your updated version of that file with an outdated one. We've also heard of some conflicts, for example, Disable Out Of Bounds Snipers (NoInvisibleSnipers.asi) causing infinite loading for some people. If you're still having issues, you can get more support on our Discord server or if you'd prefer, on the RDR2 Mods Discussion forum.

    Hey all

    Welcome to the community @DirePanda
  4. Those settings would have absolutely no effect on your Scripthook, so you might have other issues going on there.
  5. This is a single-player modification, like LSPDFR.
  6. Use the following link instead: http://www.dev-c.com/rdr2/scripthookrdr2/ Note the http. I don't think it likes https.
  7. How these things usually work is that if a modder is particularly interested, they will work on it. By the looks of it, a modder hasn't really had much interest (RedM exists and for most people satisfies this need). It might be worth spending some time looking into this yourself to see how doable this is if RedM doesn't meet your needs. There are a decent amount of modders here and in the Discord server who would most likely be happy to provide pointers, but I don't think there's anyone interested at this time in doing it all by the looks of things.
  8. We've made some changes today so that uploads should be much faster. Uploads now go through our dedicated file servers instead of being uploaded as part of our normal website traffic. Additionally, a long standing issue where you could not set descriptions on individually uploaded files during the initial upload process has been fixed.
  9. Great, thanks for your feedback! I've changed the icons to be a bit more readable on the dark theme, but we should probably have a bit of a re-design of these properly for the dark theme. Happy holidays to you too!
  10. Great thanks! I'll check what's going on. The code highlighting colours should now be fixed on the dark theme!
  11. Just about to fix the code tags, thanks for letting us know! I saw this at the start of our re-design but I forgot to make the needed changes. Did you upload the attachments directly to the edit box when you uploaded them or did you select them from previously uploaded attachments? I'm wondering if the issue is a permissions problem.
  12. An issue with files being forced through our manual approval process when only the screenshot or changelog has been changed has been fixed!
  13. For RDRFR, you don’t have to remove any files. Simply do not start the game with RPH to use online. For other modifications, you may have to delete their files or move them.
  14. Thanks for your bug report! I'm sorry about your thoughts on the design otherwise, you can't please everyone! 😄
  15. Please note that scripts are likely to cause false positive detections. It can be a false positive based on what script modifications do (especially if only one scanning engine picks it up, like what happened here).
  16. Hi everyone, Welcome to the new RDR2Mods.com design. We've been working for a while on our new design, as well as a whole host of behind-the-scenes changes and upgrades. I'm excited to tell you about them. First I should mention, the new RDR2Mods.com design is now dark by default. This probably isn't the preference of everybody, and if you prefer a lighter design, just click the light-bulb at the top of the website to switch between light and dark mode at any time. We work on and maintain both, so apart from the light/dark switch, you shouldn't see any non-colour differences between both modes. We've listened to a lot of feedback about discovering files and navigating the site, and we've made some important changes around finding and discovering content. You might notice at the very top of the site you can now very quickly get to each category of game mod. This probably isn't too useful for a lot of you that already know the way around the site, but features as a really quick way of finding the mods that you want if you've just landed on the site and are finding it a little tricky to navigate. We've also added the download button for modifications right to the top of the page, so it's far more obvious how to download content. Some issues with our search has been fixed, although we are still working on improving this further. A new 'Trending' system has been introduced, this comes from our brother site LCPDFR.com. The idea of our Trending system is to highlight new and updated files that are getting traction. We still need to make some adjustments to this, and it's still in the early stages, but we're hoping this will further highlight new content. Getting file updates is no longer a long drawn out process; just hit 'Send me version updates' and you'll get sent a notification whenever the file is updated. When you download a file, the files are grouped by 'Main files', 'Old version', 'Extra'. Old versions are at the very bottom of the list. Creators can also add a short description saying what each individual file does. Creators can now add a bug report link to their files, that will cause a 'Report a bug' button below the 'Download this file' button to show. To enhance the peace of mind for visitors downloading files, we're also running a more detailed suite of security checks against files. You'll be able to see the result of VirusTotal virus scans right on the RDR2Mods.com file page for a modification. Please note that for some script modifications, the chances of a false positive are quite high. We'll hide these false positives when they are obvious to us. We haven't yet started on this, but, Creators, if you think your file is incorrectly labelled, please let us know and we can give it a check. For creators, updating your file no longer causes it to become hidden, even if it needs approval. Instead, the changes are queued for approval and your old file is live until the changes are approved. Files should not require approval as much due to our automated scanning system. As well as our work, we also inherit a lot of changes and fixes from the base software we use on the site, Invision Community. You should see a faster and more bug-free experience from the core of the site. However, this won't be an entirely bug-free and seamless experience. Although we've tried our best to make sure this rollout is as bug-free as possible, it would be only normal for some to appear. Please expand the spoiler for some known bugs. Feel free to reply to this topic or leave a comment on Discord in the website channel if you want to report something we may have missed. A more complete changelog is viewable in the spoiler below. Please let us know if you have any questions, bugs to report, general feedback or anything else. Best, Cyan
  17. Hi @AClassySliceOfToast Just a heads up you can update existing files by clicking 'File Actions' under the description and picking 'Upload a new version'. 😀
  18. You don't, sorry.
  19. We don't endorse piracy, sorry. It works on the latest retail version.

    SET_TEXT_SCALE

This native was removed in b1436 -- we'll update the native DB soon to indicate removed natives. Some people have reported the latest version of Scripthook RDR2 remaps this native, but I am not sure. Using LMS' ASI loader will restore this native:
  21. We're happy to bring two exciting changes to our Discord community today. First, we're introducing the new #website discussion channel. This will be the channel to bring website suggestions, problems and feedback which can get lost over the noise of existing discussion. We'll also post website updates here and try to keep people up-to-date with maintenance events. And, we're happy to launch our new RDR2Mods.com Discord bot. Our Discord bot was created to fulfil the need of announcing new mods and mod updates for our own Discord community, and now you can bring it to your own. For more information on our bot, see the dedicated page.

Welcome to the LSPDFR community as well as our RDR community! RDRFR is definitely worth installing and playing. If you get stuck, you can always ask here on the forums or on our Discord.
  23. As per the file description, LML supports streaming file modifications (which there are already other solutions for) but also adds new support for replacing also any other (non streaming) file asset, which is unique to LML.
  24. No, as per the description, the Mod Manager will only pick up new mods that use the install.xml file standard, not the legacy stream/replace folders.
  25. It’s been a little while since we have shared some news, but this week has been wild! First, we’re really happy to announce that we’re re-branding as RDR2Mods.com. We want RDR2Mods.com to be an open, fair and easily accessible space for the RDR2 modding community, in a similar nature to what we’ve created with LCPDFR.com for GTA V (and GTA IV!). Similarly to when we launched LCPDFR.com, we want to do things differently. As mod creators ourselves, we want our community to be the best possible place to distribute your creations. To that end, we have a few features that really help with this goal. An open community. Anyone can download without any registration. We do encourage people to register and share their feedback, but we understand this won’t be for everyone. Fast distribution. We always use a proper CDN for serving files, whether you are a Patreon or not. Creator focused. You keep full control of your mods, which means you can update or remove your mods with one click. You can also let your downloaders know how to support you, by adding a donation button. We’re always wanting to hear feedback as it helps us improve, if you think there’s anything we can do differently or anything you’d like to see, you can always let us know. We also just launched Lenny’s Mod Loader for RDR2. Like it’s GTA V counterpart, LML supports replacing any file in the game, not just streamed assets. We’ve included a few examples of what is now possible, from replacing the game font to changing game meta values to increase the amount of peds that can be spawned. Like LML for GTA V, we plan to include our one-click installation feature in the near future, allowing you to download RDR2 mods with the ease of a single click. There are already a few creations out there that are using the power of LML, and we’re really excited to see what comes next!
