I love RDR2, and I think one thing that would improve the sense of immersion and ability to roleplay any story you want would be the addition of romance options with NPCs. Even something like being able to accept the advances of the "working girls" at the saloon would add an extra layer of fun/immersion. I'm not sure how involved it would be to create something like that (I'm guessing quite a bit), and I certainly don't have the skills to do it myself, but if anyone is working on such a project, I would donate hella money to see that happen. Do you think this could ever happen in the future?

Hello 🙂 if you're looking for roleplay where you accept the advances of "Working Girls," please search for the RDR2 Hot Coffee mod here: https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=rdr2+hot+coffee+mod+download. I'm not sure if I can put a link here since its quite controversial.

Thank you thank you! I was wondering if such a thing existed.

ANNOUNCEMENT: A lot of people have requested the mod, and I'm more than happy to provide a link for it. With that said, I now have a request in return. Before my request, here's some background. I'm a novice modder - making music mods for GR Breakpoint, logos, and video editing with Adobe products. I'm using a laptop from 2013 and its' on its last legs. Please, please consider donating to my GoFundMe. I'd like to use an up to date laptop to continue modding, video editing, and learn how to code mods for RDR2. You can see some of my work here: https://www.youtube.com/@RyuHazaki/videos, and here: https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/users/26907074?tab=user+files. If you request my services, I'm more than happy to make a channel logo, and more. Thank you for reading, and you will find the GoFundMe link here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-need-of-a-new-laptop-for-my-editing-business?utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1&utm_content=undefined&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer&utm_term=undefined. Thank you for reading😊

Sure, adding some romance to a game?😏 That could really make it feel more lifelike. We all need a bit of connection, right?
Feeling a little less alone, whether it’s hanging out with someone in real life or just interacting in a game, can make a big difference. Sprinkling in some romance isn’t just about the fun of it; spacer.pngit gives us a chance to walk in shoes that might feel a bit lonely otherwise.🗯️ Whether it’s in the game or out here in the real world, finding someone to connect with on local fuck makes everything feel a bit more special, more vivid. It’s not just about programming and coding these interactions; it’s about weaving in those little human touches that make the game world resonate with us, make us care about it. We're always on the lookout for something meaningful, right? Diving into these game relationships might just remind us why reaching out and building real connections is so vital.

Yeah, I totally get where you're coming from. RDR2 is already one of the most immersive open-world games ever, but adding romance options—especially ones that let you build relationships with NPCs beyond scripted interactions—would take it to the next level. Rockstar put a lot of detail into the world and its characters, so it's surprising that Arthur (or even John in the epilogue) doesn’t have more dynamic romantic interactions beyond Mary Linton’s storyline.

As for whether something like this could happen in the future, there are a few possibilities:

  1. Official Content from Rockstar – Highly unlikely. Rockstar doesn’t typically revisit single-player DLCs (sadly), and their focus is mostly on GTA Online and whatever GTA VI has in store.

  2. Mods – This is the most realistic route. There have been some impressive mods for RDR2 (like new missions, character overhauls, and even Undead Nightmare-style zombie mods). A romance mod would require a lot of work—new animations, dialogue, AI scripting—but it’s definitely possible. The biggest hurdle is that RDR2 is harder to mod than games like Skyrim or Fallout.

  3. Community Crowdfunding – If a talented modding team were to take this on and got enough support (financial and otherwise), something could definitely happen. If you’d be willing to throw money at a project like this, chances are others would too.
