Message added by Cyan,

The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play RDRFR, can be found inside the RDRFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website. Please also make sure you have the latest version of our ASI Loader (version.dll) if you are encountering any issues.

Shoot it out with bandits, hunt down outlaws and walk the streets with a star.  RDR First Response (RDRFR) is an all new experience we've created specifically tailored for Red Dead Redemption which ties in seamlessly with the game, turning you into the law.

This first version of RDRFR puts the power of the law into your hands for the first time since Rockstar's flagship title arrived on PC.  Working in conjunction with our Patreon supporters and testers, we've built a number of core features into the mod for you to enjoy with the ability to arrest suspects, go on duty and request backup in a manner similar to LSPDFR for GTA V.

Being tailor made towards RDR, though, there's a couple of key differences in RDRFR.  One of the new concepts we've introduced is for providing 'missions' or 'investigations' to the player.  Instead of pretending that police radios existed in the 20th Century, you'll now find that civilians within the world will summon your help the old fashioned way - in person, calling out loudly for the assistance of the law.  Similarly, there are other noticeable deviations throughout especially as it relates to arresting suspects and the interaction options available.  Instead of having separate key presses or buttons, we've tried to keep things as integrated with the game as possible: most of the features and actions in RDRFR are accessed or performed through the game's contextual prompts.

Does First Response crash for anybody else with the stolen horse and wanted fugitive? The shootout works but those two call outs crashes it any idea why?

Same here with me. Great mod but only the shootout callout works.

I fixed the issue of it not loading after watching the video above, but some things need fixing. The find the wanted person callout seems to crash when ever they run away, and when you try to arrest some people they start walking away and you cant stop walking ,so you and the suspect are just walking forever. Another issue I have found is that random player events like those ? people and others are still active. The peds work fine but some don't talk it doesn't break the game its just a bit odd. Guns are also a bit of an issue in the sense that you keep your "golden guns" as a lawman in the wild west rather than having regular firearms. I have also noticed that some areas don't have good callout placements in Annesberg for example some callouts spawn in the ocean and cannot be completed.  Horses are not really a problem you just get your player horse so I wouldn't put to much into that. Arrest are odd they look strange but I have no idea how you could fix that other than handcuffs instead of hogtie. Corners and medical personal are also not as much of a problem as its the wild west and unless your in a city an "ambulance" should be rare. This mod took a while and I know that a lot of work still needs to get done I just think feed back is important.

When it says 'Hooking game instance' i click the settings gear in RAGE PH and click save and start, I do the same for LSPDFR.

Needs some work it seems.  Instant crash on stolen horses.  I will wait to play until bugs are worked out.

A great work in progress!, the disarm animation has issues, and also the lawmen who are not recruited ( can only have 1 ) will cut free your suspects sadly by default.

My system puts out an error:

Unhandled Exception: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\rphhs' is denied.
       at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)

at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state)
       at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart()

The game automatically closes, and I've reinstalled multiple times, gave elevated privileges, as well as deleted the game and reinstalled.

I also turned off all of my anti-virus and disabled them too in the case it turns on again. There seems to be no work around at the moment.

I'm waiting for more users with the same issue.

Hi I am having trouble with getting the rage plugin to work. I use the basic rockstar launcher and every time I launch rage plugin, it says "an unhandled exception has occured". Dont know what to do.

UPDATE: I have figured out that it doesnt work  because I am using a mod manager and rage is in a separate (manageable) folder. So I get it wants me to move it into the base game folder. However, I dont want to do this until I know a way of uninstalling it easily - this is because it will supposedly ban you if you launch online like this.

Ragepluginhook doesn't even start up?   Win 10,  Digital RDR 2 version.   My Lspdfr Ragehook starts up just fine.   What am i missing for RDRFR?

Edit:   Apparently it needed to launch as an Admin.   It works now.
