RDR 2 Outfit Changer 0.5.1

Change player clothes and make custom outfits!
   (16 reviews)

Message added by LMS

Please note that you need to use the latest Lenny's Simple Trainer update (version 1.3 or greater) to use multiplayer models properly.

11 Screenshots

We are proud to release our latest modification for Red Dead Redemption 2: An outfit changer! Featuring all of the more than 1300 single player clothing items (and in version 0.2 all multiplayer components!), Arthur has never looked more unique. A word of caution: The component system in RDR2 is very powerful and even many parts of your skin are components which you might need to toggle to make body parts (re)appear! Please read the readme.txt file for more information on how the system works.

Features

  • Change clothing items in over 40 categories with over 10000 total variations!
  • Save your current outfit
  • Quickly equip saved outfits
  • Reset all your components
  • Change Ped Skin (see readme)
  •  Enable Multiplayer Assets (try changing your model to mp_male or mp_female using our trainer to access them in all your glory)
  • New! Change beard and hair length, untuck shirts and much more!
  • New! Customize menu key

Controls

Press F2 to open/close the Outfit Changer menu:

  • Up/Down to navigate the menu vertically.
  • Left/Right to change item options.
  • Enter to select.
  • Backspace to go back.

Installation
All you need to do is drag the files into your game root folder - the one where RDR 2 is installed.

  • The Outfit Changer is loaded from the same folder and shares many of the same files as Lenny's Simple Trainer but works without it.
  • When the game launches, you should hear a few beeping sounds, indicating that the mod is loaded.
  • RDR Online is not supported for modding.  Don't attempt to play Online with this mod.  Remove all files from your game folder before playing Online.

Configuration
Open the outfitchanger.ini file (found in your game folder) in a text editor to configure the Outfit Changer where you can:

  • Change the names of categories.
  • Name your favourite clothing items to make finding them again easier.
  • Manually edit/manage your saved outfits (although you can do this in the menu).

We are working on a Wiki page to document all of the clothing items.

To load any changes to the outfitchanger.ini file, use the "Reload Settings" feature in the menu.

Please don't upload or redistribute this mod, link here instead so that everyone has the most up to date version.

Please note that you are not permitted to sell configuration files for this mod. This mod is free and so should be your files!

Please help. I'm trying to put MP coats to Arthur but the arms and other parts seems to be curved. A rare form.

Why it is happening? I tried changing to reset clothes and reset all and still happening. Even the mp example model ....

you can only do that if you load the genstorymale character model first with LST, then change the head to Arthurs in the outfit changer. Atm you can't use his actual mode for mp clothing.

    Edit: model name is: CS_genstorymale

Is it possible to find the hashes with open IV for Johns npc hair and add them to this?

Hello.. is there a way to add the new items e.g. the new ponchos to the ini file or you're planing a release.

Also would love if you could have a feature where the clothes don't reset after a cut cut-scene

thanks for this great MOD !!!!

    Hey,

can you add ability to change bodyguards' outfits too? That would be awesome and so useful when you spawn main characters with their winter clothing.. 🤗

    Hi there,
    Loving the Mod overall! But I was wondering;

Can you only Save Outfits when playing as the MP?

I started a fresh save and haven't been able to save any Outfits as Arthur, and obviously it resets itself when going into the Wardrobe.
Is there something I can change in the INI. file to get it working, or does the Save Outfit option only apply to MP characters?
The only Outfits in "Saved Outfits" are the Examples, no matter how I save them.

EDIT: For context, this is what pops up when I got to Name and Save my Outfit; It let's me type it out, and says it's "Saved as" but nothing's changed in the Saved Outfits Menu or anywhere in the Wardrobe.

Having the same issue as previous commenters. I create an outfit from my available clothes, I then open the mod menu and try to save, the box pops up to name it, regardless of what's typed in there it doesn't save. When I then check saved outfits I only see the examples. There's nothing i'm aware of that I need to change any differently, it just doesn't seem to be working as intended. Any help appreciated, thanks

Is there a limit on how many outfits you can save? I know in the base game you can only save 5

Assurez-vous simplement que votre fichier outfitchanger contient cela

    [Settings]
    MenuKey=F2

paramétrez également votre jeu pour commencer en tant qu'administrateur ... cela devrait également aider à la sauvegarde

    ----

Just make sure your outfitchanger file contains this

    [Settings]
    MenuKey = F2

also set up your game to start as an administrator ... this should also help saving outfits as well

When starting, there is an activation sound, but the game does not open the menu on F2. Is there a solution?
