RDR 2 Asi Loader 0.2.2

Load ASI files and custom code into the game.
   (5 reviews)

1 Screenshot

A simple ASI Loader for Red Dead Redemption 2 to easily load your custom code into the game.

Files are loaded after Arxan has finished its decryption stage so you can search for your favorite patterns right away!

Installation

Put version.dll in your game root folder. When the game launches, you should hear a few beeping sounds indicating that it got loaded.

Not supported for RDR Online.  Remove the ASI Loader file (version.dll) before playing Online.

Native fixes (build 1436)

Game build 1436 on July 13 2021 removed a few natives used mostly for text rendering making any mod using those crash. The ASI Loader update 0.2 fixes that by re-implementing the following natives with their original hashes. You still need a script hook!

DISPLAY_TEXT
SET_TEXT_COLOR
SET_TEXT_CENTRE
SET_TEXT_SCALE
SET_TEXT_DROPSHADOW
TASK_EVERYONE_LEAVE_VEHICLE

Let me know if any of those do not work as expected. Thanks to fingaweg for their help.

Released

Added experimental fix for missing natives (mostly for text rendering) on build 1436 allowing you to play older mods without a script hook update

Sorry I'm a bit autistic and seem to be the only one having problems using scripthook with asi mods that require asi loader. Everything requires 3 different programs. I put the dll in the root folder but no 3 beeps.

This is a really sad day, none of my mods are working anymore and it seems we will have to wait for all mods to be updated. I tried installing the new version.dll file and the outfit changer update but nothing works still. The mods I have are:

    -ScriptHook V

    -Rampage Trainer

    -JediJosh Trainer

    -Outfit Changer

    -Lenny's Mod Loader

    -Red Dead Offline

    -Gun Metal Rework

    -Gun Grips and Such

    -WhyEm's Assortment

    -Combat Overhaul

    -Ultimate Horse

    -Online Turkoman for SP

    -Gun Tricks

    -Hunting Wagon

..........Like I said, I am not sure what to do to fix everything Im assuming i just have to wait but i was so happy with these mods and i hope they are updated soon. The game is unplayable for me now. I'll have to wait to continue my save....

For anyone having trouble - If you previously used Script Hook RDR2, remove "dinput8.dll" from your root directory (make sure you leave ScriptHookRDR2.dll) and then launch RDR2.exe manually. Hope this helps! Also huge thanks to @LMS for getting us this quick fix! You're awesome!

Remove the dinput8.dll file from game directory and download this version.dll file to main directory and boom! Fix

Yes I manually launched the game using the RDR2.exe but it may work just fine using only the launcher.

You have an outdated version.dll (from 2019), use the one from here.

I deleted the dinput8dll. Put the new Version.dll in. Tried to launch from the launcher and the exe and nothing starts. On the launcher it says loading then quitting. When I launch from the exe nothing happens. Any one else have this issue? If I remove Version.dll the game starts right up.

Same problem, version.dll never worked for me. Before the update I was using scripthook without any problems (my game is on Rockstar Launcher)

I bought it on Rockstars launcher too. Without Version dll the game load fine. Just all my mods are broken. With version dll It just won't start. Next time whenever I get this fixed. I'm going to try to block the launcher in my firewall to prevent this type of nightmare. I could care less about rdr online updates.
