Lenny's Simple Trainer 1.4.1

with this I get 2 beeps and nothing...... game doesn't even show any signs of opening....... (1436.28) 

hey all, i wanna try using this instead of the rampage trainer for better (hopefully) better compatibility with LML, but it's been a long time since I've messed with the scripthook and stuff like that so I have a couple questions that I'm hoping someone more knowledgeable than I could answer.

1. I already use the Alexander Blade script loader, is that the same as the ASI loader linked here? And will dinput8.dll work instead of version.dll? I remember using those specifically because one of the first mods I downloaded (maybe PDO?) told me to, and I remember seeing people say the version file doesn't work for a lot of mods, while dinput8 has worked fine for everything I use so far.

2. Am I correct in remembering that you only need version.dll for mods that load multiplayer assets? And if so, is there maybe an older version of this trainer that doesn't? As of now I don't really need the multiplayer stuff, just want to be able to test out mod functionality and compatibility a little easier.

1. Ab's asi loader only loads asi mods. Version.dll does the same thing, but it also reimplements native functions, and loads RDO assets in singleplayer. You must use version.dll for this mod to work, but there might be a trick to make it work with AB's asi loader.

2. Version.dll is used to load online assets, but also makes some older mods work on the latest version of the game. An alternative to version.dll loading online assets is to use online content unlocker.

So uh, this is causing all male NPC's to attack me... And I can't really stop it.. 😞

So I placed all the files from the mod into the root folder, and i hear three beeps when i launch the game. But then i hear a fourth beep about 2 seconds afterwards.. and it does not function. I have made the root writable to all users on my desktop, and i have launched the game in admin mode to no avail... i also have the latest asi loader version.dll in the root folder can anyone tell me what im doing wrong...

Hello, I've read quite extensively online. My main issue is with nativeinterop.dll in towns. If I remove it, I have no low fps or shuttering issues. Whenever the trainer is running normally with all files, towns are nearly unplayable. 

Is there any solution to that?

Another probably bigger issue is with npcs in missions just staying there doing nothing. And I have to break the checkpoint till I can skip to the next one..

I'm new to modding & thought this might be simple enough, I think I've done most of it correctly, the file even says the trainer has been loaded when before it said the error (& I followed the advice at the bottom & installed the patch, as well as made sure the right version.dll was in, & no other was there) but I still cannot open the trainer with F5. Is this because I haven't progressed far enough, or did I do something else wrong?

Now the error System.OutOfMemoryException is back, even though I have the EasyHook patch in. I probably borked it.

I've got the trainer working, comes up with f5 and I can do things with it, however my longarms, masks, outfits, and hats don't appear on my horse! It's 100% the trainer as I've uninstalled, had everything, re-installed, they're gone again. Anybody else have this issue? Any solutions? I can put them on my back from my box or from a gunsmith but the longarm slots on my horse are straight up empty no matter what.

As an aside, PDO seems to only function with this mod installed. Is that normal?

I haven't installed this mod yet, but I can confirm that I've had PDO work normally without the Trainer. I used the PDO Standard version as apposed to the Light or Overhaul ones, so maybe it depends which you're using?

Sorry if its not a solution, I literally just made this account to let u know that PDO should work without the Trainer lol

Is there a way to config explosive ammo to be like vanila ones? These from the mod seem to much for me.

Many months ago R* changed some internals that broke most of the animal controls. There is an option in the trainer that attempts to revert some of their code changes to make it work again which you can try, but I have not tested it in a long time.

Hey LMS, great trainer, I only got a question, is there an option to change the F12 key for the log file? I like to take screenshots and the message "Player Log something something" throws me off, I tried searching it on the lst.ini but I didn't find nothing, hope you can help me, thank you!

im having the same issue, i got rdr2 on pc yesterday and ive just got lml and scripthook and stuff and it still doesnt work

for some reason when i push f5 i only get the time/weather menu. Is there some control I'm missing to go back up a level to the rest of the settings?

Hey LMS, is it possible to fix the error where the Breton horses turn into a generic Tennesse Walker? After like an hour of gameplay, I went and did the Flaco mission, it was only 2 minutes, then I go back to my mealy dapple Breton, and it became a chestnut Walker.

Also, do I have to change LoadMPWeapons=false in the lst.ini to true in order to be able to use the Red Dead Offline mod? Any feedback is appreciated, thank you for this wonderful mod.

Edit: Seems any kind of online horse will revert to a Tennesse Walker, and it only changes once you reload a [manual] save or exit to main menu, or simply exit the game completely.

did you ever fix this and does this still work in 2023 ? i wanted to replace rampage with this. But when i install this i hear the beeps but the game does not launch. i removed rampage files before trying. also confirmed that game launches fine when simple trainer files are removed... 

have tried replacing the version.dll in the asi but get same result either way, game just doesn't launch when these files are in the directory.

Great product, but am having an issue with honor. Going to check the pages before but it seems that using the honor option from this trainer locks your honor in place and it wont move up or down. Have not figured out a fix yet but was wondering if anyone else ran into this, been using this trainer basically since it came out and havent ran into this problem before
