RDR 2 Outfit Changer 0.5.1

Change player clothes and make custom outfits!
   (16 reviews)

Message added by LMS

Please note that you need to use the latest Lenny's Simple Trainer update (version 1.3 or greater) to use multiplayer models properly.

11 Screenshots

We are proud to release our latest modification for Red Dead Redemption 2: An outfit changer! Featuring all of the more than 1300 single player clothing items (and in version 0.2 all multiplayer components!), Arthur has never looked more unique. A word of caution: The component system in RDR2 is very powerful and even many parts of your skin are components which you might need to toggle to make body parts (re)appear! Please read the readme.txt file for more information on how the system works.

Features

  • Change clothing items in over 40 categories with over 10000 total variations!
  • Save your current outfit
  • Quickly equip saved outfits
  • Reset all your components
  • Change Ped Skin (see readme)
  •  Enable Multiplayer Assets (try changing your model to mp_male or mp_female using our trainer to access them in all your glory)
  • New! Change beard and hair length, untuck shirts and much more!
  • New! Customize menu key

Controls

Press F2 to open/close the Outfit Changer menu:

  • Up/Down to navigate the menu vertically.
  • Left/Right to change item options.
  • Enter to select.
  • Backspace to go back.

Installation
All you need to do is drag the files into your game root folder - the one where RDR 2 is installed.

  • The Outfit Changer is loaded from the same folder and shares many of the same files as Lenny's Simple Trainer but works without it.
  • When the game launches, you should hear a few beeping sounds, indicating that the mod is loaded.
  • RDR Online is not supported for modding.  Don't attempt to play Online with this mod.  Remove all files from your game folder before playing Online.

Configuration
Open the outfitchanger.ini file (found in your game folder) in a text editor to configure the Outfit Changer where you can:

  • Change the names of categories.
  • Name your favourite clothing items to make finding them again easier.
  • Manually edit/manage your saved outfits (although you can do this in the menu).

We are working on a Wiki page to document all of the clothing items.

To load any changes to the outfitchanger.ini file, use the "Reload Settings" feature in the menu.

Please don't upload or redistribute this mod, link here instead so that everyone has the most up to date version.

Please note that you are not permitted to sell configuration files for this mod. This mod is free and so should be your files!

Would it be possible to add unplayable character's heads onto Arthur's/John's/multiplayer female&male bodies? This is what I've been doing when I want to dress Arthur with online clothing I just load his head onto multiplayer male's body. Just wondering if it's possible to do that with other gang members? 🙂

    - Maybe a feature that will make the multiplayer clothing work for Arthur/John?

    - Maybe more color or pattern options to choose from for the clothing items that are already

    in single player?

Just some ideas. Thanks again for all the work you do.

Please please could you update the issue where the items you've picked reset when you enter a cutscene, I really want to keep the same look but having to reselect everything after every cutscene or scripted event takes a long time. Thanks

Not features, but maybe some fixes and improvements? Perhaps that we don't lose our outfits after a reload, and that Arthurs hair and beard don't get reset in cutscenes. A lot of issues have been postet here... what would be cool is an option to toggle the satchel and the offhand holster on or off.

The mp characters don't have eyebrows, i've looked everywhere in the menu for them but cant find them. Were they added? you said "You can toggle virtually everything from eyebrows to legs."

But i cant seem to find the eyebrow section. Is it only for Arthur?

Ability to extract all / future online clothing to use in SP perhaps. Using them on a working MP model.

    Dude... I have a problem.

When I wear loadouts they go through Arthur's body... Any way to fix it? ):

Same with some others online clothes.

Still gotta try find character weight options, saving the game with your outfit doesn't keep it either 😞

Sorry for the noob question, but I'm currently using Lenny's Simple Trainer, and since this outfit mod uses a lot of the same files, can I use both this and the trainer mod at the same time (ie. having each one in their own dedicated folder)? Or you're not meant to? I'm hoping to use these 2 mods along with the enhanced Photomode one.

Trying to add The Cowboy Vest <2> to my save file(not the save within the trainer). It's the vest John wears in RDR. Based on what the outfitchanger.ini says, should the Hex ID be the fourth one? 4F585B0F?

Can someone verify I have the right one? I'd appreciate it

The game crashes to desktop for me whenever I try and switch to the mp male or mp female model.  Any idea why?

2hrs later. Mod is useless, you can only access SP clothing (whats the point?)

author doesn't post updates, or communicate. Write off

Can this mod be used with the jedijosh trainer at the same time?

EDIT: It seems not. Tried running both at the same time and even though I hear the beeps at launch, I couldn't start the trainer. I just need a simple way to adjust hair and beard length on the fly.
