Hi, i've got this trainer to load on my Steam Deck. Tested on SteamOS 3.6.19 with GE-Proton9.16 and Proton Experimental. My guess is that version.dll with serves as script loader doesn't work with wine. So I've replaced script loader included in Lenny's trainer with one provided by ScriptHookRDR.

 

Here is what you can do:

1. Download Lenny's Simple Trainer and ScriptHookRDR
2. Extract all files in the same directory as RDR.exe (in Desktop mode for steam Deck)
3. Delete version.dll and change file extension for Lenny's trainer from  lennyssimpletrainer.dll to lennyssimpletrainer.asi (by the way filename isn't important)
4. Now in Steam find your game and go to properties to set the launch options (for nonsteam game in steam properties->shortcut / steam game properties-> general). Add this line:

   WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ScriptHookRDR=n,b;dinput8=n,b" %COMMAND%

As a side note. On other linux distros or just outside steam dll library can be overridden with winecfg using Protontricks or Winetricks  gui wrapper

Yup, I had this error too in undead nightmare

Still crashes the moment I leave the trainer, as a prevous comment wrote, related to the infinite ammo for the R* game launcher version.

Yup, infinite ammo still abends the LST with access violation…

Could you guys please tell me when you crash with infinite ammo? I.e., when you turn it on, when you use a weapon (what kind of weapon) etc. Thank you!

It's not every time that "Infinite Ammo" has problems.
I think the problem is in "Give Weapons".
Sometimes the use of a cheat also prevents the player from accessing the Weapons Menu.
"Skin Changer" deletes all Weapons/Tools, is there no way to keep them or give Lasso and Knife again?
The trainer cannot be opened at any time, bugs occur if you are starting the game or in the middle of a cinematic, for example.

I think that when using Teleport, set the "Delete Current Mount" function automatically, otherwise you will enter places with mounts. 😅

But I believe that with some time everything will be resolved. 😉

Now the weapons didn't disappear when I changed Skin. 😉
Only the Consumables, Kit and Provisions. 😅
 

The the change Weather  is still broken ;for example,  whenever  you select  rain  or stormy  then nothing  happens  you will hear the Audio  of the rain,but the visuals  are none existence. 

LST still crashed with the access violation using the skins/ammo version .

It didn't immediately, but after about 3-5 seconds. 

I didn't change skins... I only enabled infinite ammo, nothing else in the trainer.

I loaded a clean save with all weapons given via trainer and enabled infinite ammo only. LST did NOT abend. I waited 15-20 seconds and enabled more options and trainer didn't abend.

I loaded a save with in-game cheats enabled and tried to enable infinite ammo via LST and trainer abended.  Hope this helps.

P.S.  The above were done on the skins/ammo version LMS posted earlier.

I retested again to verify. A save with no in-game cheats enabled,  LST doesn't puke. 

If a save has in-game cheats enabled, there appears to be a conflict with LST causing the abend...

I go through and do player invulnerability, mount health and stamina, and infinite ammo and no reload as my startup routine, and the moment I close the trainer, game crashes. I don't do anything with giving myself weapons per someone else's comment.

I get this error! After playing a few minutes! What to do, can anyone help me? 

Can you add win minigames option(poker, liar's dice etc.)?

It still crashes when the infinite ammo option is selected, usually a few seconds after (had to confirm it wasn't the dead eye option because of the delay), and once immediately after.

Yep, thought I had hound dogged the access violation issue too. Played thru several missions without a problem. I started getting the error again last night… kinda houdini

Two MS Defender updates on the 7th one on the 9th. Went into Virus and threat protection settings. Disabled real-time protection and cloud-delivered protection. 

Immediately got passed the crash.

everyone just so u know this trainer breaks script hook i uninstalled this today and now all of my asi mods are working i was wondering why they weren't
