Chunk Norris

Has anyone found a fix for locked guns? For example the mauser pistol, semi auto pistol, 1899 pistol are locked as well as some items at the fence. I am on chapter 3 atm. Do you need to progress in the story to unlock these, my understanding is that these are multiplayer only weapons so should be unlocked just by installing this mod right? I am using Whyem's assortments as well but with the RDO compatibility patch. Obviously have all the necessary dependencies as well.
