  1. Hey Friend I had a question about the online horses

First of all I did the hex for the Buckskin Mustang and got 62121AEC

I was able to find it through OpenIV and extracted it to the desktop like you said

Then i replaced that text with the Dark Bay example you gave

Problem is I think with the LML because for some reason the stream folder didnt come with the mod download (i had to create a separate stream folder) and I think this is causing an issue,

Am I doing this wrong or is it a problem with LML

What is the issue exactly? Does the horse not show up? Does it still look like a Turkoman?

It's totally fine to create the stream folder yourself, I did that too so I doubt that's the problem here. What else have you got installed?

      Awesome, glad it worked XD

  2. You need OpenIV to get the online horse files. You might also be able to find the horse you want on Nexus, the Bigger Horse mod includes a few of the online horses but these are all sized up to be around the size of a turkoman. In OpenIV use the search function to find the .ymt file of the online horse you want, just search for the breed itself and extract the file that has your desired coat. This doesn't work for all breeds, searching for the gypsy horses for example won't get you any results so if that happens with your horse of choice, do the following: Go here: https://www.rdr2mods.com/wiki/hasher/ enter the full ped name of the horse you want (in my case that was a_c_horse_mustang_blackovero) and hit the Hash! button, it will give you the hex. If you don't know the full ped name, you can find it here https://www.rdr2mods.com/wiki/ped-search/ Enter the hex you generated in OpenIV's search and extract the .ymt file that comes up. Save it to your desktop or something. Now you need to decide which storymode horse you want to use as a base. Your online horse will have the same stats as the horse you pick as a base, so I went with the Dark Bay Turkoman because I think it's the best overall breed in terms of stats, has the war and race horse classification and I don't care for that particular coat. You need to rename the .ymt file you extracted and give it the ped name of the horse you want it to replace, so in this example I would rename it to a_c_horse_turkoman_darkbay.ymt. Then put this file into your lml/stream folder, go ingame and use a trainer to spawn in the storymode horse you used as a base. If you did it right it will show up as your online horse of choice, but the game will still think it's a storymode horse. Hope that was clear enough. If not feel free to send me a message. I had help with this too the first time I tried to figure this out :3
  3. I've changed tactics since, I've swapped out the model of the dark bay turkoman with one of the online horses and that works fine because the game still thinks it's a turkoman even though it looks like the black overo mustang (in this particular case). This makes using online horses pretty much hassle free and lets you stable them just fine.
  4. I haven't found it yet, no. If you can show me where it's located, I'd really appreciate it.
  5. Straight to the point: where can I find the a_c_horse_gypsycob_splashedpiebald.ymt in OpenIV? Downloaded that today and I found multiple metapeds.rpf that have horses in it, one only has storymode horses and the other has some MP horses like the kladrubers and criollos, but not the gypsys, it's still lacking a bunch of MP horses. Reason for this is that I want to do what the Online Horses and coats mod over on nexus does, and replace some of the ymt files to get the horse that I want. Right now I have replaced the Dark Bay Turkoman with the Raven Black Shire, so when I spawn in the Turk with a trainer it shows up as the Shire but with the Turk's stats... but in a perfect world I want the Splashed Piebald Gypsy instead of the Raven Black Shire for Arthur, but I need the ymt file for that and I haven't been able to find it. Can someone please tell me where to find the file? The Online Horse mod has some of the gypsys but not the splashed piebald gypsy.
  6. Is there a way to customize how the bodyguards look? I haven't been able to figure that one out. When I spawn one in using mp_female I see I can choose from various outfits, but where can I edit those? Unless I'm somehow continuously ghosting over it I don't see it in the lst file, or anywhere else for that matter. Asking because I've recreated my and my friend's RDO characters to the best of my abilities and I wanna make some photomode action shots of them with one of them spawned in as a bodyguard. I have a list of all the components I used for her, but now I'm stuck.
  7. You can do that with the Rampage trainer over on Nexus, I've used it to spawn in a Gypsy Cob for Arthur and sized it up to be as big as the raven black Shire, but it does break some functionalities with the horse. If you scale it up you can no longer lead it around or pat/feed/brush it unless you're in the saddle. Won't work while standing next to your horse.
  8. Unfortunately it's not possible to stable an RDO horse, something about them being hardcoded or something. I've been happily using one of the gypsy horses for Arthur for 2 weeks now, but I have to spawn in a new one each time I start the game, reload a save or die, because the horse will always change into a tennesee walker upon loading into the game. I actually use the rampage trainer over on Nexus to spawn them in because it lets me set the horse's bonding level to 4 right of the bat and it has all the stable options in the mod menu so you don't have to ride it into a stable (though you can ride a RDO horse into a stable to change its components and equipment and such if you want to so long as you don't actually try to stable them, but using rampage is quicker). What I do when I enter the game is take my old-online-horse-now-turned-tennesee-walker out to where there are no people, dismount, spawn in the RDO horse with Rampage (this will still be seen as horse theft, hence doing this away from people), manually set bonding level to 4 (optional but you're gonna have to bond with it from the start each and every time if you don't) and give it a name, remove saddle from old horse and put it on the new one to make it your main, mount old horse and use the kill option because you don't need it anymore (won't affect your honor), and done. You now have an almost perfectly fuctional RDO horse for storymode... at least until you have to reload again or die. Fortunately it only takes a few seconds to set up a new horse. Rampage also has a save/load option for horses but I personally don't use it so I can't comment on how well that works.
  9. Can also confirm that disabling the sniper no longer works. I also can't get a condor to spawn. I tried adding it to the lst.ini using various variations of A_C_Condor_01 because I don't know what the correct one is, but I can't get a single one of them to even show up in the trainer's list of peds to spawn.
  10. So I used the Lenny trainer to spawn in a splashed piebald gypsy cob in early chapter 2, right after the mission with the bear. I can saddle it and bond with it just fine, but the game won't let me stable it. The first time I tried the gypsy wouldn't show up when I rode into the stables and it wouldn't let me stable my original horse either. I rode in on the gypsy (no saddle) but when I exited I was back on my first horse and the gypsy had disappeared completely. Second time I tried I first put my saddle on the gypsy and then rode into the stables. It still wouldn't show up, so I couldn't do anything like change tack or give it a name, but when I exited I was still riding it. My original horse was still following me because I can't stable that one either. It's like the game doesn't recognize I'm actually riding a second horse. So I saved my game, reloaded and now my gypsy had changed into a tennesee walker. My guess is this happens it's a RDO horse and it's not supposed to be ridden in Story, though I honestly don't know why it won't show up in the stables. Does anyone know how to make this work? I really want this horse for Arthur. EDIT: after a few more tries I managed to get it into the stable and give it a name, so that worked, but upon reloading my save it still changed into a tennesee walker.
  11. @Doktor VS I had that happen once, reloading my save fixed it for me. Try that
  12. @LMS I played around with this last night and it only seems to partly work for me, so maybe I'm missing something. The menu opens up just fine and the options to give the horse unlimited stamina and such work fine as well, but none of the saddles/bridles/stirrups/etc options work. This includes the SP ones. I can't even change the manes or tails or make the saddle disappear. None of those options actually make a visible difference on my horse. I use this mod in conjunction with the Simple Trainer, the Outfit Changer and the Photo Mode Enhancer and I've never had any problems with those. I'm not sure what the issue is here, if it's something in the mod or something on my end, because everything else works with no issues but I figured I'd let you know.
  13. I've played around with the newest version and can confirm that disabling the New Austin sniper works. I just hunted the legendary cougar in chapter 2 and also camped overnight in Tall Trees with no issues, so awesome job there @LMS I never got to do the original New Austin glitch so this is the first time I get to explore this part of the map with Arthur and I'm having a blast. However I can also confirm that this version of the mod gives your horse infinite stamina by default, even if it's set to off in the horse menu, which isn't a problem or anything but I thought I should mention it. As for changing the gender on the horse, it works but as soon as I do that the tack and saddle disappear, and taking the horse back into the stable resets the gender.
  14. Great mod, I have high hopes for the future of this one. Right now it's still wonky but that's to be expected this early on. Like others have reported, I also noticed some items (hair, beard, boar talisman too even though I actually have item in my satchel) disappear during cutscenes. I re-equipped one my favorite outfit while a cutscene was playing and it updated just fine, but the next time Arthur appeared on screen during said cutscene the aforementioned items were gone again. It would be nice to have these stick, and not have these outfits affect hair and bear style/length at all. So hopefully that will be a thing for the future.
  15. @Yndrel Bosch Online doesn't have access to photo mode at all so no, and you probably shouldn't be using any mod files when you want to play online, unless you don't mind the ban risk
