maybe the overbearing hitmarker in these games just mask the issues

ive just killed hundred of peds with tomahawk throws and slowmotion enabled. im not totally sure but i think the issue maybe deeper it seems as if the moment the projectile is thrown basically its toally scripted from that point onwards as if even the bullets and arrows obey red dead redemptions "reaction engine" since we have the brilliant mod remove hitmarker its even more apparent!

When im in first person with zero aim assist i notice a that the velocity of thrown tomahawks or flying arrows changes based on whats currently directly in front of the crosshairs. it does some awful auto correction nonsense. with this "feature" its impossible to pre aim moving targets it will auto correct the trajectory. i dont know if this is possible to make .

do you just launch the game or do you have to launch it some other way

The mods i was trying were the rage trainer and ped overhaul. Maybe i ran into difficulty with the program i was using "RDR2 Mod Manager"the launcher was automatically redownloading huge portions of the game when i booted it up with mods. Next time im going to download all the files on the tools download on here. I just dont want to have to download the game again so any tips appreciated

remove all shooting restrictions on everything

Is there a step by step guide somewhere to mod RDR2? I was using the nexus and succeeded for a while until the launcher started "updating" itself 38 GB updates lol currently redownloading the thing for a fresh install. I wonder if there is a better way to understand modding this game so would appreciate any advice. Also there's a few mods on here that aren't on the nexus site which is cool!
