Weird, I've never had that issue when I was testing. Edit: I'm wondering if the encoding settings that you are saving the file as is breaking something? Since I've only ever tested it with UTF-8 encoding. Edit2: Okay I think I was having the same issue as well when I tested it again, just uploaded a hotfix update that fixes that small issue.
