  1. So I just found out about the ChatGPT mod by Art From The Machine for Skyrim, and it got me really excited. How far are we from seeing something similar in RDR2? Is anyone working on something like that for RDR2 as well?
  2. So, anyone? I'm using Darker Nights too, and I think this lantern mod is really important, especially during combat when enemies can easily spot you in the dark. I've been searching through the wiki, but it's really tough when you don't know the exact names of the functions you need, and it seems that there hasn't been much update in the decoding of hashes since last year. I even sketched out some logic I think is a good starting point, but i wasn't able to find the right functions in the database: if (time > 20 && time < 5) GET_PED(); if (PED_IS_INSIDE_BUILDING) return; if (PED_IS_NEAR_ARTIFICIAL_SOURCE_OF_LIGHT) return; if (PED_IS_HIDING) return; if (PED_IS_IN_VEHICLE) GET_VEHICLE_FROM_PED() return VEHICLE_SET_LANTERNS_ON(); else if (PED_IS_USING_ITEM_OR_WEAPON) return PED_STASH_LANTERN() else return PED_USE_LANTERN() It's also important to reduce NPCs' ability to see the player when the player is in the dark.
  3. Is there any way to set bonds/relationships between NPCs that affect their reaction to each other's death? I've looked around, but I couldn't find a mod that does that. I've always felt that the lack of bonds between NPCs really breaks the immersion, especially when someone dies. When they're under threat, they just run, caring only for their own lives, like they never even knew the person they were just hanging out with. I thought that there wouldn't be speeches or animations available out of the box to make it, but i just saw a scene in Blackwater where a thief robs a woman and ends up killing her. The man who seems to be her husband takes her wrist, feels her pulse, and cries over her body, then carries her away. I would love to see that kind of reaction in non-scripted situations. There are many ways an NPC could react to a relative's death: - cry - take the body away - panic - go into shock, unable to move Or even under threat: - run towards each other - run to the same direction - rescue (by horse or wagon) - protect/cover - give their life for the other's Is anyone able to do this?
  4. 1st person mode and 3rd person camera FOV are the same command in the settings, there is no option for separate key binds. I want to be able to switch 3rd person near-medium-far without going 1st person.
  5. The 1st person camera in RDR2 is awful. I already use some mods that bring the 3rd person camera close to Arthur, and it ends up being much more immersive than using the 1st person camera. But I also often change the distance of the third-person view, and it's extremely annoying to switch to 1st person in the middle of that. It would be awesome to be able to go back and forth with the 3rd person camera without going through the 1st person, just like when you disable the 1st person on horseback and vehicles. Anyone knows how to achieve that?
  6. Update: I've done all missions around Rhodes and time still freezes when I'm in the town. I guess it's not related to the mod tho. I'm in that part where "Dutch asks the gang to not cause trouble in Rhodes". Maybe that is causing time to freeze somehow.
  7. I tried 60000 once to make it equal to realtime, I thought that was the problem, but it continued with low timescales too, so I uninstalled the mod. Edit: I just figured it out. The time freezes every time I travel to Rhodes, so I thought it was related to travel_modifier. Turns out there are missions around. I just left the town and time flowed again. I hadn't selected any mission, though. It seems that the "mission time" takes place even before a mission starts. Maybe this specific mission must start during daylight, I don't know. I am reinstalling the mod right now. QUESTION: Is there a problem if I disable the hotkeys? like setting them to 0 will crash the mod? I just want to set one timeflow and leave it. Also does the mod work if I put it inside LML folder or these mods that use scripthook must always be put in the root folder?
  8. Is this still up? the idea of travel modifier is amazing, downloaded it specifically because of this feature. Unfortunately time freezes and the game crashes moments after a long travel with travel modifier on. Short distances work fine, but traveling for hours breaks the game time (like even the hands on the watch stop moving). Have you faced this bug too?
