    This worked for me: C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings Edit the system.xml file scroll down and change "<API>kSettingAPI_VULKAN</API>" to "<API>kSettingAPI_DX12</API>"
