Absolutely. Unfortunately that mod does not work with RDO and also doesn't explode. It also doesn't apply to NPCs, and just renders all weapons broken if installed with RDO. It's a no go for me unfortunately.
The one I'm thinking of should be simpler, as it's a 1/100 dice roll whether it explodes if it needs cleaning for any gun in the game for any character, so when a bullet is fired it does a cleanliness check and then a 1/100 check whether it explodes, deletes itself from the game, and then does a small amount of damage to the player. The explosion of explosive bullets would be perfect to emanate from the middle of the gun when the explosion happens, as it's just the right size.
The logic of this mod is definitely there, but I'm not a coder, so cannot do it myself. I absolutely would if I could, so if someone wants to point me in the right direction so I make it myself I will do it.
