This mod has a very glaring and impactful bug that I did not find out about until later into my playthrough. You will simply just not get the bonus stats from buying reinforced equipment when using this mod and it really fucked me over because I realised this had happened too late and I couldn't load back. Even if the authors are not working on this anymore this NEEDS to be added to the known issues as it's probably the biggest bug this mod has. Other than this bug this mod has worked perfect for me but use it with caution! It should be fine to use as long as you make sure to remove it before you get those bonus stats and then add it back after.
