  1. Through some preliminary testing, I've found the Legendary variation skins for the animals that don't have their own model (so, everything bar the Tatanka Bison and the Bull Gator). I'm still trying to figure out the outfit changer, so I'm not sure if I can spawn a PED and then somehow target it to change its skin, or how to go about that. But once I work that out, I can check if it's working.
  2. I can't find a way to target a spawned animal to change their skin, it only seems to work on the player with a changed model - which isn't very helpful for what I want to do, and doesn't let me see if changing the skin also makes the game recognize a spawned PED as that variant or not. (I suspect that there's more to it than just the skin.)
  3. No, I hadn't thought to try that, though it makes sense, especially for the ones with no number in the model name. Though, I'll be interested to see as well if the game recognizes them as the right species or not as well...
  4. I have a PS4 copy, and Ultimate Edition for PC. I can't find anything through general searching on the method for finding PED model names and other information, which is frustrating. At the moment, it seems that (for example) if you spawn AC_Pronghorn_01, you will always get the American Pronghorn Doe - but there's three species of pronghorn in the game, with separate Compendium entries for males and females (and ofc all are required for trophies). Only two of the Guarma snakes have known models (sure, not required for trophies, but I can't stand having blank or incomplete Compendium entries). And so on. That the models end in _01 makes me think that other species or other genders of the same animal might be model _02, _03, and so on. While I'm game to test that theory (I have nothing better to do with my time until school starts again in like 3 months) I'm really not sure if it's worth it, or if there's a better way. I have no programming experience and I've never attempted anything like this before, but given that I have 3 months of free time, if there's a way I can contribute to finding more model names I'd love to know how. I'm happy to sit down and write out what the in-game name of each model is to help people who just want the list to use with trainers as well. And take screenshots too if people want - those might be a bit of a pain to include neatly though.
  5. I really want to see a way to mod the appearance of horses, even if it's just recolouring their textures. And I'd especially love to see a way to keep the horse's 'natural' mane style, but change the colour - the manes on the Mustangs look beautiful, but you can't recolour them! I'd also really like to see a 'proper' New Austin early entry mod. At the moment, Lenny's Trainer does disable the sniper, yes, and you can use 'never Wanted' and 'Player is ignored' so that the army of bounty hunters doesn't kill you... ...but they still spawn, which ruined my early Horseman 9 and an attempt at going moose hunting in Tall Trees. So...not really ideal. I'd really prefer something like the effect of the old Angelo Bronte glitch - you still couldn't go into towns (although with 'never Wanted' and 'ignore Player' I guess it could be viable now?) but the bounty hunters didn't spawn, so it was possible to fill out the Compendium, finish up side quests, and so on. No idea how doable that is though.
  6. Does anyone know how to get the species variants when spawning animals? For example, the different snakes that don't have their own model, the two different species of cormorants, etc. I'm guessing it's something the mod author has to do, but I don't know. I can't find anything on the method for finding model names either, but i might not be searching properly (and honestly don't have any programming experience so I might not be able to do it anyway).
