@Vozic @Richrecords Perfect Pelts only really worked after I disabled Autosave. What I found was it worked properly, until the game autsaved, then it stopped working. Once I turned off Autosave, it seemed to work fine. -
@Vozic basically you kill critter, with your preferred style, and skin it. No matter what the star rating is before you skin it, it'll pop up in inventory as "perfect xyz pelt/skin/carcass (for small critters)". The corpse itself, of the larger beasts, does still retain the original star rating, so if you use dynamite to kill a Pronghorn Buck, for example, you'll get a perfect skin, but 1 star carcass.

@LMS skinning seems to be working again. Blowing away a couple of wolves with an auto shotgun, still got perfect pelts haha. A time of day suggestion, if you don't mind, that I like in GTA V Native Trainer. Would it be possible to link the time cycle to the system time, and/or be able to alter the rate of temporal flow in increments. For example if default time is 2 min real time = 1 hour in game (for a 48min day/night cycle), then you could offer increments of say 10 min RT = 1 hour in game, 30 min RT = 1 hour in game, 1 hour RT = 1 hour in game (so real time), and the other way of say 1 min RT = 1 hour game time, of for the really nuts of us who want to screw up their eyes haha, 1 sec RT = 1 hour game time.

@LMS I too have issues with the perfect pelts when skinning. Basically hunting is as per default. A 1 or 2 star animal provides only a 1 or 2 star skin, a 3 star provides a 3 star, provided you use the right weapon/ammo. So, for example, using anything other than a bow with small critter arrows, on a Black Squirrel, will still result in a poor quality skin. Or if you require multiple shots to kill an animal, such as shooting from a fair distance, you still get a quality drop in skins. When I first downloaded the 0.8.0 trainer it worked for the first few saves, but stopped working after the hunting mission with Hosea, and hasn't worked since, even with the current 0.8.1 version of the trainer.
