Custom Horses PSA
I'm sure there's plenty of people in the community that are curious about implementing new horses into the game, so here's a general overview as to how you would go about doing that. Note that this isn't meant to be a YMT or file editing tutorial, but rather just a general explanation of how implementing horses into the game would be done properly. Let me know if you have any questions about this! Note: If the image doesn't load for you, click here.

Bandit Hideouts Mod v1.37
ATTENTION - change in versions There was an issue discovered on the mod page's changelog. The changelog on the description tab drop down menu wasn't updating to version 1.36 when i added it on May 10th, 2025. Looking into it i discovered that there cant be version numbers with letters in them for example v1.34A thats what screwed up the order. So i had to change the version numbers of v1.34A to v1.35 and v1.35 to v1.36. Latest and last update that was posted on May 10th,2025 was considered version 1.36 but its really v1.37 I had reuploaded the latest version that was labeled v1.36 to v1.37 so that the actual zip file is renamed Bandit_Hideouts v1.37 ======================= So you understand the latest version of the mod is v1.37 not v1.36 if you downloaded v1.36 previously on May 10th, 2025 then you dont need the latest version v1.37 because you already have it. ==================== If your new to the mod and haven't downloaded any files, then v1.37 Main File is what you want. If your updating from a previous version and want to get the latest version then v1.37 is what you want. Any questions regarding this then ask, sorry for the inconvenience and confusion.

Hi i like to sher some of my realistic idea fore red dead redemption2 mod
Suggestion for an Ultra Realistic Mod Created by: Noti Raul Hi! I’m a 12-year-old fan with a big imagination and a huge love for Red Dead Redemption 2. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to make the game even more realistic and immersive, and I’d love to share some of my ideas with you. Maybe one day they could be part of a mod—or even inspire a future update or game! Here are some of my most realistic suggestions: --- 1. Pretending to Be Dead Arthur can play dead during fights or ambushes to avoid being shot or captured. NPCs might ignore him or leave, giving the player a chance to escape or surprise enemies. 2. Visiting the Police Station for Hunting Permits You can go to a sheriff’s office and ask for a hunting permit – like a license – before you hunt animals in protected areas. 3. Wild Animal Skin Clothing If your wife knows how to craft clothes, she can use animal pelts to make custom outfits. If not, you can try yourself (with a chance to fail), or pay someone skilled to do it. 4. Getting Drunk Affects Gameplay When Arthur drinks too much in saloons, the screen gets blurry, he stumbles, and it becomes harder to control him. If he drinks way too much, he can even pass out. 5. NPCs React to Screams or Gunshots If you yell, curse loudly, or someone screams nearby, NPCs react by coming to check what’s going on, or calling the law if it sounds dangerous. 6. Helping the Community Raises Your Reputation You can volunteer to chop wood or hunt for food during winter. Helping the town gives you a better reputation and more respect from people. 7. Finding Money or Stealing Quietly You might find money on the ground or sneak into people’s houses at night while they sleep and steal items – but only small, realistic amounts. 8. NPC Funerals When someone dies in a town, their family holds a funeral. Men remove their hats as a sign of respect, and you can attend or just pass by. 9. Emotional Consequences for Arthur If Arthur is betrayed by someone close (like his best friend or partner), he can fall into a short depression, refusing to eat or losing energy for missions. 10. Calling NPCs to Follow You You can talk to friendly NPCs and ask them to follow you somewhere – to help, to show them something, or to lead them into a trap. --- Let me know what you think! I’d love to hear your thoughts or see if so meone wants to try making a mod from these!

Ammo count mod?
I was just wondering if there was any sort of mod to edit the amount of ammo a certain gun carries as I'm trying to make the cattleman revolver hold 5 instead of 6.

I don't know what mod causes this or if it's just a problem with my game as a whole.
Arthur and John's base game clothes are for some reason lighter and John's hat is white. WhyEm's DLC clothing looks normal other than the base game clothes. I have had these mods for a little over a year and am only coming across this problem now. I have searched far and wide and have yet to find a fix to this because I am apparently the only person to get this problem in the game. Please help and take your time to assist me.

Super Ultimate Horse Mod
This mod is good, but it would've been great if it was only about horses. The US Marshalls? The Accuracy of Pinkertons? The Cow Girls? The crimes and wanted levels? They're all cool but it could've been a separate mod unrelated to this. This mod should just be for horses. Good mod though nonetheless.

« Files does not exist in game folder: Modmanager.core.dll »
I’ve been trying to install WhyEm’s DLC on my Steam Deck but every time I launch Lenny’s Mod Loader, I get the message above. The file is indeed in the games folder and in the lml folder. Do you know about this issue? Thanks

Welcome to the new RDR2Mods.com!
All Wiki pages and database pages should now be loading at least - but may still look a little broken. We're working on fixing their appearances but they should otherwise be functional.
