Cuddlecreeper8 5 Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 As anyone has noticed ScriptHook and RAGE Plugin Hook have been broken by the latest update. Is there anyway to revert to the previous version of RDR2? I know this has been done with previous Rockstar Games such as GTA IV. Quote
Adman 3 Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Steam usually has options in the "beta mode options" section for this, but yes it has to be enabled by the devs first. I am not sure how rockstar would do it through the social club directly. Quote
HughJanus 244 Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 I dont think its possible since they forced the R* launcher on us. In GTA 4 it was easy with the disc version, since you had to install updates manually. With the steam version you had to disable the auto updates and then downgrade, but Im not sure if thats even possible on steam anymore (dont have steam installed anymore, only GOG Galaxy and R* launcher). With the Rockstar Launcher it is possible since you can disable automatic updates, problem is someone needs to upload a backup of the previous version which would be huge to just download. Quote

Cuddlecreeper8 5 Posted August 1, 2020 Author Posted August 1, 2020 Well this isn't much of a problem anymore for mods that aren't using RagePluginHook. I always have preferred ScriptHook to be honest, but RagePluginHook does have some great mods like RDRFR. Quote
