I have the mod manager downloaded, made the folder scripthook, placed my one mod (hunting wagon) in there and now the MM is "configuration text loading line 950/2541... Please wait...) 

Now am i doing that right or have i made a grave error?

What mod manager are you referring to? For script mods to manually install them just copy them to the game folder.
