foraging for nuts 3 Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 (edited) inject some colour into the weapon of your choice i found the mod blackjack done on nexus where he added copper and tempered steel to weaponcomponents.meta so here is a bigger colour palette for you to try (so get crazy) Antler_Smooth Bone_Matte Ivory_Smooth Ivory_Polished Leather_Rough Leather_Smooth Steel_Blackened_Oxidized Steel_Blued_Oxidized Steel_Browned_Oxidized Brass_Oxidized Bronze Bronze_Oxidized Copper_Oxidized Gold_Oxidized Brass_Red Brass_Rough Lead Nickel_Oxidized Silver_Oxidized Steel Steel_Rough Steel_Oxidized Iron_Oxidized Pearl_Rough Pearl Drain Trail Disorient Wound Confuse Generic_SemiMetal Poison Blood_Dry Blood_Fresh Blood_Sticky Enamel_White Enamel_Yellow Enamel_Blue Enamel_Green Enamel_Red if you look at nexus i added two pictures there on blackjacks post which shows a couple of the colours available https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/623 To use these colours first download blackjacks mod extract the weaponcomponents.meta open it in notepad search for the colour you wish to replace repeatedly (there are a few) and overwrite each one you find with the new colour then save your file and follow blackjacks instructions as to the location to put the file Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\replace\update\common\packs\base\data\ai the standard file colours are: Iron Nickel Steel_Blued Steel_Blackened Steel_Browned Brass Silver Gold Brass has already been replaced by Copper and Steel_Blued is replaced with Steel_Tempered so originaly the blued steel would look like this
and once changed would appear as
if you would like to change the tempered steel to poison it would look like this
Below is one that i've edited already with the following in order from left to right Bronze Enamel_White Steel_Blued Blood_Fresh Copper Bone_Matte Poison Gold https://mega.nz/file/IdwQQKoQ#dr6XMdjI4sXaGQ09s1SHgYpaJDQGdAdHXRJv2n-ryNw Note: take care if editing the iron colour as you may end up altering the ironwood handle by mistake Edited May 21, 2021 by foraging for nuts 1 1 Quote
