  1. I saw some videos and websites where they say that feature about changing clothes was supposed to work and have impact when you have a bounty or not and come back to the same town, committed several crimes in specific town and it was supposed determines if witnesses will recognize you or not. But after all it never worked at the game .     Hello everyone and all the best in 2025, I am looking for someone on these forums from Glasgow Scotland that can help me with how to install mods, The only mode have have managed to install correctly is Rampage mod and that took me four tries, I have tried several times to install Whyems mod but with no luck can't get it to work So if anyone from Glasgow could help me with this i would be very grateful . you can reply to this thread by emailing me if you think you can help.     I can't seem to find an answer to this so I'm asking here. I have a custom ambientped and popgroups file which I'd prefer keeping intact. However, I've come across a few mods that I'd really love to have but I'm sure they would overwrite my own changes that I've made. Namely I'd like Ambient Gangs and or Restored Pedestrians Pack. Apparently from what bits I've found it IS possible to have at least one of those two mods be compatible with my own ambient and popgroups files which is great! What isn't great is that aside from just being told to merge their files with mine, no one has given me an in depth answer on how exactly to do this. So, how do I go about do…

    Hello there! Trying to find something about how to edit weight, legs, stomach, etc. of the horse model / body type. Which code in the .ymt file do I need? And how can I edit it to create, for example, a sport horse? I know how to change a size, but I want try more for. And no one can tell me about.     Hey , i have just started playing rdr2 on my pc and saw it has a First response mod. I have been playing LSPDFR for years now and wanted to try it on RDR2. But for some reason it just doesnt work. The game loads up perfectly but when i press F5 to load the plugins it doesnt work. I was watching a tutorial to how to install it and on the persons in game map the sheriffs logo pops up but on mine it doesnt. I'm not too sure if i have to be at a certain point in the game. if you could help that would be much a appriciated. many thanks, Nick

  10. I was just wondering if there was anyway to go about changing prices for Fenced items such as Horses and Wagons? I've checked the catalog file in OpenIV. I've also found that prices are variable for horses and carriages as with the Missouri Fox Trotter for example, the purchase price in game is $950, $38 sold to fence, $19 sold to Stable. Any ideas?

  11. Hello there, just made an account for this page because I'm curious about something, so let's get to it: Is there any hash code for getting the tight gunbelt Arthur wears in Chapter 1? It seems like it's just Arthur's normal gunbelt but adjusted to his waist (And no, I don't want the hash code for the coat) . I thought it could be something like the open thompson vest method, where you equip the normal Thompson Vest and you insert a special code in Save Wizard that changes the vest from closed to open, so, I thought that there has to be some kind of code that adjusts Arthur's gunbelt to a more tighter position like most NPC's do.   12. I know RDRDFR has some script that can do that, but you are forced to be a sherrif when using that mod. I wanted to be able to switch my character and still have Arthurs health and cores. Rampage trainer has a way, but when you do that it copies the componets, although the characters arms, head a body end up looking like the slendermans. Is there any mod?

  16. I'm trying to figure out when the player is within borders of camps or other places where his move speed is limited. Is there a native function that is like IS_PED_IN_CAMP or something like that? I'm developing a mod for custom walking/running speed and what would be even better is if there is way to know when the player's speed is limited. For example, in camp you can't go past fast walking. When you are carrying a body, you can't sprint. Those are the kinds of limits that I would like to have access to. Is there anything in the native functions that can be of use to me? Is it possible to mod either the player speed in certain stances (like slowing how fast the player moves while crouch running) and/or control the rate stamina drains from certain movement (like adding stamina drain while crouch running)? And secondly, controlling cashflow for the player somewhat, simple overall control variables like buy/sell price in itself would be great, but choosing the sell price of items specifically? In the same vein the item drops, can the gun/ammo drops from NPC death be disabled?     This should be a fairly simple mod to make As you all know the Red Dead Redemption 2 has some Pre Order Bonus that were never released on Steam,Epic and were time limited on Rockstar Games, ulike the pre order bonuses for RDR1 these were never released as separate packs. Some people with the knowlodge released a couple mods that unlocked those bonus when RDR2 initially released, but after many updates these mods are outdated and no longer work, and no mod maker ever fixed them.     Guys, can anyone help me? I have various mods installed and it often happens that when entering a town the game crashes. I also tried removing dinput8.dll from the rdr2 game root folder and the crashes happen less often, but the problem still remains the same. Do you know why?

  21. I'm playing the first Red Dead Redemption on PC and I installed a trainer mod that lets you enter numeric values to adjust the timescale during Dead Eye. It allows you to slow time down even more or speed it up while using Dead Eye. Additionally, the rapid-fire feature makes John Marston fires faster after marking enemies in Dead Eye. I was wondering if it's possible for someone to create a similar mod for Red Dead Redemption 2.

  22. Been playing RDR2 again, and been trying out more of the stealth elements again. I had the idea of a mod that overhauls the stealth elements in the game, such as allowing people to be knocked out without an honor loss, or tied up and knocked out without honor loss; maybe a specific "distraction throw" item that works better than throwing knives supposedly do, maybe even some missions or side-tasks that require more use of stealth? The stealth in the game seems pretty bare-bones and specifically requiring of deadly measures, or hog-tying people so they're still conscious and drawing attention, etc. Just some food for thought I guess.

So I want to replace Arthur's hat model with the Tom Dickens' hat model, but I don't know how, I tried "OpenIV" to decompile the game, but I couldn't even find the ID of neither the hats there, I can't find any tutorials on youtube or other sites.   25. If it is possible, is anyone knowledgeable enough to swap out John's swimming animation for a faster one? I could be mistaken but I believe John and Arthur have two different animations for when they are in water, which makes sense because John is not supposed to be able to swim at all. However, the John swim mods exist but all they do is counteract the instant stamina depletion. John's actual swimming ability is still really weak and he moves through water incredibly slowly. I'm not 100% sure that Arthur is faster but it definitely feels like he is. If anyone could make a mod/provide a tutorial for giving John the same swim speed as Arthur, I thin…
