A simple ASI Loader for Red Dead Redemption 2 to easily load your custom code into the game.

Files are loaded after Arxan has finished its decryption stage so you can search for your favorite patterns right away!

 

Installation

Put version.dll in your game root folder. When the game launches, you should hear a few beeping sounds indicating that it got loaded.

Not supported for RDR Online.  Remove the ASI Loader file (version.dll) before playing Online.

 

Native fixes (build 1436)

Game build 1436 on July 13 2021 removed a few natives used mostly for text rendering making any mod using those crash. The ASI Loader update 0.2 fixes that by re-implementing the following natives with their original hashes. You still need a script hook!

SET_TEXT_COLOR
SET_TEXT_CENTRE
SET_TEXT_SCALE
SET_TEXT_DROPSHADOW
TASK_EVERYONE_LEAVE_VEHICLE

 

Let me know if any of those do not work as expected. Thanks to fingaweg for their help.

This Asi loader is really and it lets you download some very good mods but the only problems is that it causes you to not be able to donate to beggars, softlocks the sadie adler bounty hunting mission and it locks the animation when grappling seomone with a machete, you can use online content unlocker with version.dll to fix the first two bugs but not the machete, great mod altough.

it was good until it start lagging my pc alot like play rdr2 with a potato wifi droped at 5 FPS and with my Rampage but still good

LMS ended the mod crisis with this latest update. LMS saved the day with this asi loader! How's that for a review?

 

(Just make sure you remove dinput8.dll from your game's root directory if you have it. That's what's tripping folk up, I reckon.)

Super useful for close-up screenshots, as you can even go through the characters if you want to ! Keep it up guys, i'm so excited regarding a (possibly ?) future Law Enforcement mod on this game !
