A simple ASI Loader for Red Dead Redemption 2 to easily load your custom code into the game.

Files are loaded after Arxan has finished its decryption stage so you can search for your favorite patterns right away!

 

Installation

Put version.dll in your game root folder. When the game launches, you should hear a few beeping sounds indicating that it got loaded.

Not supported for RDR Online.  Remove the ASI Loader file (version.dll) before playing Online.

 

Native fixes (build 1436)

Game build 1436 on July 13 2021 removed a few natives used mostly for text rendering making any mod using those crash. The ASI Loader update 0.2 fixes that by re-implementing the following natives with their original hashes. You still need a script hook!

SET_TEXT_CENTRE
SET_TEXT_SCALE
SET_TEXT_DROPSHADOW
TASK_EVERYONE_LEAVE_VEHICLE

Is the version.dll that comes with Lenny's Simple Trainer the same as this one?

Yo version.dll crashes my game. I'm using the latest version of rdr2 and i have only have the ragdoll mod

if anyone could help me it would be great!

Before and after adding the new version.dll in game folder game not coming up. If I remove the version.dll the game will start but wont load any mods.

just beeping and nothing happen game not coming up

I cannot get it to work, I have version 1.0.1436.28, I have already downloaded and tried with all the variants of 'version.dll' from the most current to the oldest and the game simply does not open, with version 1 and 2 I can hear the beeps, but the game does not open, it should be noted that I am forced to use the LML version 8 since the most current ones do not allow me to start the game either, does anyone have a solution or do I have to wait?
 

I only have 5 mods installed, they are the following:
 

- Sgt Joe Bank Robberies
- Gun Metal Rework
- Ped Damage Overhaul
- Hostage Mod
- Rampage Menu

It's not loading, Im not hearing the beeps and the mods that I have installed that require ASI Loader are not loading

With version.dll the game does not launch but without it, it does. I dont know what is the problem, i tried everything: removing dinput8.dll and putting version.dll instead of it, i tried removing all the mods from my game directory and launching RDR2 only with version.dll, but still nothing. The game didnt launch, i only heard 2 beeps then nothing happened. I dont know if there is a fix for this problem but if there is please tell me.

    Fix your broken mod. It breaks random encounters like with beggars and softlocks you in a bounty hunter mission with Sadie in the epilogue

    Whenever i do the mission with sadie adler in the epilouge chapter II i always freeze at a moment and i can't do anything everybody with this mod has it so they can explain what i mean by that plaese fix it
