Please make sure you have the latest ASI Loader installed if you encounter any crashes!

 

Some anti-virus software programs mark Lenny's Simple Trainer as a virus. This is known as a false-positive. Lenny's Simple Trainer makes extensive use of memory hooking to achieve a lot of what it does, which can look malicious to anti-virus software.
Additionally, Lenny's Simple Trainer was one of the first script modifications created for RDR2 PC, and uses it's own scripthook, which increase the amount of memory hooking used and thus false positive detection potential.
If your anti-virus marks Lenny's Simple Trainer as unsafe or you have odd issues running Lenny's Simple Trainer, you will either need to exclude Lenny's Simple Trainer files (refer to your antivirus documentation for more details) or you will have to disable the anti-virus software.

Lenny's Simple Trainer is a mod for Red Dead Redemption II that lets you do a bunch of awesome things in RDR 2, including clear your current wanted level, give yourself money, and much more.  If you've ever wanted to play as a wolf, soar in the skies as an eagle or have a personal bodyguard, then this is the mod for you.

 

If upgrading from a previous version, always use the new lst.ini file.

 

Features

  • Play as any character model and easily switch between your favourites.
  • Teleport to anywhere on the map, including your current waypoint.
  • Nudge yourself forward through locked doors and walls.
  • Change & pause the time of day.
  • Change & freeze the weather.
  • Give yourself any weapon in the game!
  • Clear your wanted level.
  • Never wanted setting.
  • Toggle godmode on or off.
  • Give yourself unlimited amounts of money!
  • Change the game's timecycle speed.
  • Quickly spawn a new horse to use.

  • Load multiplayer only weapons, such as the Navy Revolver (Set LoadMPWeapons to true in the ini, please note that this can cause severe side effects due to how we hack in the weapons)

  • New! MP models work again (big thanks to deterministic_bubble)!

 

Controls

F5: PRESS to open or close the Trainer Menu.
F11: PRESS to teleport to waypoint. 
F12: Log your current position (and some other info) to the logfile.  Also works on peds/entites you target.

NumPad 0: HOLD and PRESS Left/Right/Up/Down/PgUp/PgDn to nudge the player, forward, up, left, backwards, etc.  Go through doors with this.

 

Menu controls:

  • Up/Down to navigate the menu vertically.
  • Left/Right to change item options.
  • Enter to select an option.
  • Backspace to return to the previous page.

 

Bodyguard controls:

  • Hold and Release F9 to make your bodyguards regroup with you.
  • Hold F9 to dismiss all of your bodyguards.
  • Aim at a Ped and Press 1 to make all bodyguards attack them.
  • Aim at a Ped and Press 2 to make the closest bodyguard attack them.
  • Aim at a Ped and Press 3 to make the closest bodyguard lasso them.
  • Aim at a Ped and Press 4 to make them enter your vehicle.
  • Press 5 to make your bodyguards hold their current position.

 

Eagle gunship controls:

  • Aim at a Ped and Press F8 to make the eagle attack them.

 

Installation
All you need to do is drag the files into your game root folder - the one where RDR 2 is installed.

When the game launches, you should hear a few beeping sounds, indicating that the trainer is loaded.
Do not attempt to play Online with this trainer.  Remove all files from your game folder before playing Online.

Do not save your game as a changed character model.  We recommend that you disable autosaves before using this trainer.

 

Configuration
Character models, bodyguard models, weapon models, settings and teleport positions can be customized in the lst.ini file while the game is running:

 

Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble running Lenny's Simple Trainer, please check the log file. If you see "System.OutOfMemoryException: STATUS_NO_MEMORY: Failed to allocate memory", please download this fix to your game root directory: www.mod-rdr.com/EasyHookPatch.zip

 

If you do not get a logfile, please launch the game as administrator and make sure the folder is writable!

    @HunterMysterouis hunter Make sure that asi loader (version.dll) is updated. The one included is outdated.

    Greetings! I have problems to open the menu in-game. I hear the 3 "beeps" when I launch RDR2 but when I try to opned like i said I cant. I can see very quickly a black square, but after it appears and does not appear again even if I keep pressing F5, hope someone can help me.

    if i clear one mission(side mission or main), campaign mission not appearing on map(that mean i can't play next campaign mission)

    only when i sleep and wake up can play the next mission

    does anyone have the same problem as me?

    Same problem.

    And also other problems like animations or stopped working characters, for example when i go fishing with jack, there is no pole while the animation does show he grabs one but there is nothing, it also happens with the cage mission with micah i cant open the lock somehow. removing this mod and all seems fine.

    these problems all come from version.dll

    when i remove this file everything gonna fine

    but i can't give up to use version.dll because i use navy revolver for version.dll

    i hope someone tell me how to fix this bug

    Don't know why but right now lst.ini is what was causing RDR2 to crash before even popping up on my screen. I'd hear the three beeps and then the fourth one a second later and then it immediately quits out. Took out all existing mods to be 100% sure of this and for some reason that's the culprit.

    Latest update from LST worked fine for me. 3 beeps and the game loads just fine.

    Unsure why but after installing this mod, I tried alunching RDR2 through R* launher and was greeeted with a "NOT SIGNED IN" screen, prompted me to exit the game.

    I tried installing LML, ScripthookRDR2 and ASI Loader and didn't work.

    I've also tried logging out and then back in, allowing it in defence wall and restarting my PC.

    When I removed thefiles it went back to normal.

    Using the trainer and everything works np, just have a question when i do open the trainer (F5) ingame

    is there a setting or some way to select options without having my character walk around and

    or move when i make selections in the trainer list?

     

    The arrow keys i use for moving my character around btw, is there a way to change the keys for

    the trainer menu?

    Im getting the same issue with the lst.ini file.  If I change it to  LoadMPWeapons=true the game crashes before starting.  If I leave it on false everything will run fine,  any ideas for me?

    Having an issue I have never ran into, so when I start up the game I do not get a beep anymore and when I load into the game and press F5 the trainer comes up for a second than goes away and cannot be reactivated on screen. Not sure what to do other than reinstall the game as I have tried reinstalling the trainer multiple times. Any help would be great, thanks

    I've started from scratch and tried removing every other variable but despite the correct beeps and the menu showing up for a split second when I press F5, it immediately closes and I find the same error in the log every time: 

    [FATAL] System.ArgumentException: The address cannot be null.

    Same here.

     

    Solved it by starting over with an older version of this mod, as others had suggested. As well as removing all other mods first just to be extra sure. But you could probably just replace the files from v14.1 you might already have in place, with the ones from v14, and that would probably do it

     

    It's also worth noting, something I discovered whilst troubleshooting this, it seems that asi files anywhere in the RDR 2 install directory (even in random sub-folders) will still get picked up if you leave an asi loader in place.

    The latest game update removed the functions for text rendering that I used. Either download my latest ASI loader update that restores them or download the latest trainer version that works around this issue.
