Thank You for this! I had specifically inquired about this and I am shocked someone was able to do this! The Chestnut Turkoman is my favorite horse in the game and it fits Arthur perfectly. Especially paired with some of the saddles from the Red Dead Offline Mod.

yes , it will only replace the coat of the horse not the horse stats or details.

ok.. makes sense, since the horse @ Saint Denis in the 2nd photo says its gold but is really red/brown, and the horse in the 1st photo pictured AT saint Denis says it's dark bay and IS dark bay but is really purchased @ Van Horn (learned that because I went to all the stables looking for the gold one and never found it), where then, is the gold one?

the gold is already replaced by the Chestnut, if you don't want to replace the gold, change the "Chestnut" name to something else.

these files are for replace not addon.

that's not what I'm asking you.. I asked where the horses were physically located in game, only one is in Saint Denis, Another in Van Horn.. I've been to all the stables in game.. is the Gold (AKA Chestnut) somewhere other than a stable?

I don't understand what are u asking me here tbh 😅 the location, stats .. everything about the original horse won't change, just the coat.

so you will find the Gold in Saint Denis Stable with the new Coat Chestnut . and you will find the Black Turkoman in Blackwater Stable replaces Darkbay...etc

nevermind.. it's not worth re-explaining, simply put something about My game has these horses in the incorrect stables (which is why I kept repeating 'location').. it's not worth the effort to re-explain it at this point.. the only horse that was where it was supposed to be was the Gold/Chestnut @ Saint Denis... the second one was at Van Horn instead of blackwater The other is supposed to be at Tumbleweed but the turk there is the vanilla version so I was wondering if the 'Grey' was located somewhere odd.. that is all.. I wont be asking again

Hey I need a bit of help, I've done as the instructions have stated and copied the files to LML and they are activated, yet nothing seems to happen and the colours are not changing.  I've also tried sticking them in a new folder in my main folder however that also has not worked yet.  I am still new to modding RDR2 so some advice would be helpful.

    Thanks!

I have been having issues getting these kind of mods to work since LML updated to version 5+. When I create a "stream" folder & place the mods in them, they dont work, LML does not detect them. I am very frustrated because it seems like other people are getting them to work but I have been trying for months now & no one can give me a straight answer as to how to get them to work in the latest version of LML. They say ""stream function does not work in newer versions of LML, you must have an install.xml" But then I see people who are commenting in October thanking the mod author & posting pictures of the mod working... I dont know what the heck I am doing wrong. Mods like these used to work just fine for me, & now & cant get them to work no matter what I do.

If anyone could please help me, I would be very very grateful.
