About This File

Much like GTA V, RDR 2 also suffers from a "feature" where certain props in the game world are not loaded, namely those marked as "PRI_OPTIONAL_LOW". These are often small objects that add a bit more life to the scene, but are not essential. It could be something like another stack of papers, a plant pot or a barrel that are defined in the game files but just never loaded in. This mod fixes that and allows the game to also consider these props at all times and spawn them in, subtly enhancing your gameplay experience. Drag the file into your game folder and enjoy. Please note that you need to have an ASI loader for this mod to work.

 

Thanks to Yooungi who made me aware of this problem.

 

I have not tested this mod much (< 5 minutes), so if something else breaks, please let me know.

 

Please don't upload or redistribute this mod, link here instead so that everyone has the most up to date version.

    Thanks for the mod! It appears that this mod sometimes breaks triggers in missions.

     

    For example, in "Revenge is a Dish Best Eaten", when you eventually find Bronte in the tub...the trigger that would usually start the cutscene never plays...so you get stuck. In another example, "Banking, The Old American Art", you get stuck at night time trying to make your way to the boat, before the cutscene where Javier distracts the Pinkertons. That cutscene never triggers, and you are stuck.

     

    It was the only mod I've installed recently, and toggling it off allowed me to proceed. Hopefully that can be fixed!

    Unfortunately, I don't think there is much I can do as I am just allowing the game to load in these props, no fine grained control or anything. But thanks for sharing, hopefully helps someone stuck there!

    Can you please make a mod where every gunshot wound has the blood splattering out the body. Would make the overhaul damage 10x better with a mod like that added to it.

     

    Also, not trying to be needy but i would also love a mod with more realistic blood pools & bigger. There is 1 out already but the pools are too big and looks weird.

    I've been using this mod for a while and I started noticing that it breaks certain animations during cutscenes, mostly doors that don't open. Also can't say I've really noticed much in terms of additional props, so not sure it is worth having installed at this stage.

    But why upload mods that you know breaks the game?
