Please make sure you have the latest ASI Loader installed if you encounter any crashes!

Some anti-virus software programs mark Lenny's Simple Trainer as a virus. This is known as a false-positive. Lenny's Simple Trainer makes extensive use of memory hooking to achieve a lot of what it does, which can look malicious to anti-virus software.
Additionally, Lenny's Simple Trainer was one of the first script modifications created for RDR2 PC, and uses it's own scripthook, which increase the amount of memory hooking used and thus false positive detection potential.
If your anti-virus marks Lenny's Simple Trainer as unsafe or you have odd issues running Lenny's Simple Trainer, you will either need to exclude Lenny's Simple Trainer files (refer to your antivirus documentation for more details) or you will have to disable the anti-virus software.

If you do not get a logfile, please launch the game as administrator and make sure the folder is writable!

When you go into your Peds list to spawn a PED, do you see <Default> next to the model name when highlighted? If so, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to change variant.

I was messing around with my LST.ini recently, so maybe I messed it up after the last update, but I deleted everything and now I'm using a fresh install again.

you're right. I can see <Default> next to the peds. I can switch it to different 'outfits' or variants. the default ped list only has 3 animals in it though; a wolf, moose, and eagle.

I'm trying to find a way to unlock the Legendary Bull Gator before Chapter 6. I want to know if it's possible to get the Legendary Gator skin before the animal appears in game which doesn't happen until after Guarma of course. right now, if you spawn the giant white alligator model using the ped spawner, it doesn't actually count as a real Legendary Bull Gator. whenever I skin the spawned gator, the regular alligator skin and teeth are what I get from it, even though it looks like the Legendary variant.

this is the main reason I was concerned with Legendary spawning to begin with.

we can already use the trainer to hunt the Legendary animals of New Austin, but the Legendary gator is hidden behind story progression, and I want to access it earlier.

    ....

ok did a little testing, same problem still exists. you can spawn Legendary models but they're not real.

for example I can find the Legendary moose variant (giant antlers, white fur) and spawn it and kill it. the game says that it's Legendary when I target and study it. but it's not truly a Legendary moose because it can be killed with a single bullet instead of requiring several shots. and when you skin the animal you only get an ordinary (perfect) moose pelt. we need to find a way to unlock the actual Legendary pelts. or the actual Legendary animals. like a separate object or a separate script. they're apparently locked behind some kind of scenario. they're not connected to the corresponding ped models.

Interesting... I did spawn that one, but I reloaded the save when I realized what it was because I was worried that killing it might mess up the later chapters. I had the other Lgendaries before I did the testing, so I didn't think to try to work that out.

I'd wager that the Legendary items (hides and etc) have inventory item entries - when someone finds the rest of the inventory item entries, it might be possible to just give them to yourself instead, though you'd still have to hunt the animals for the Compendium (I can't remember if they're required for Skin Deep and Zoologist).

TL;DR - My game crashes as it tries to load the most recent save.

Been hearing wonderful things about this mod and have been wanting to use it, but it crashes my game every single time it tries to load into Story Mode. It has happened to me before this recent patch and currently. There's mention above about an "EasyHookPatch" and to check a "log file", but I don't know the log file's name to even search for it. Game works just fine again when I remove all files. Using Rockstar Launcher.

Edit: Searching thru responses, I see a mention to someone else that the name of the log file is "LennysSimpleTrainer.log". Nothing like that exists or has ever come into existence after freezing.

Is true, mthere must be a way to spawn original legendary animals..

the option for change the color of the pelt is fake. it just doesnt make the legendary animal.

I would love to see this as well. I've been posting about this on cheat happens, fearless, nexus, several mod pages on nexus for native trainers. No one seems interested in even responding. O_o... To recap what I've posted before.

level 1 - Unlocks dead-eye and automatically selects targets when aiming over them. (Unlocked at Chapter 1: Old Friends)

level 2 - Manually select target points. (Unlocked at Chapter 2:  Pouring Forth Oil)

level 3 - Continuously shoot without breaking dead-eye. (Unlocked at Chapter 4: Banking, the Old American Art)

level 4 - Highlight hearts and heads while in dead-eye and aiming over an enemy. (Unlocked at Chapter 5: Fleeting Joy)

level 5 - Highlight stomach, groin, lunges and other vital areas. (Best for hunting legendary animals that are hard to kill) (Unlocks at Chapter 6: Goodbye, Dear Friend)

I've been looking for the same thing forever! There is a cheat code (I seek and I find) that lets you have lvl 5 deadeye, but it prevents you from saving and getting achievements. So if there was a mod that at least lets you save after using cheats that would be a way...

Yeah, I noticed that as well. It bums me out, because we can SEE a cheat already that gives all 5 dead eye perks, but no ones made a mod to give it. xD Its just no fun if you can't save. Like, why would I go out and hunt, or do bounty missions, or really anything if I know its going to be rolled back because I can't save. In other words, cheats are only good for just shooting up a town for 30 mins when you are bored. 😐 Worse yet, the only cheat I want to use IS the grant all 5 dead-eye levels cheat. I had already played through the story once fairly and finished the Epilogue on the 16th. Thing is, while... I like John, cuzz hes the first character I was introduced to in the red dead series, I can't help but liking Arthur more! Thing is, I want to free roam as Arthur, and I of course have a save right before his last mission, but its so unbelievably depressing seeing him sick and underweight. So I made a new save and stopped around Chapter 2 so I could free roam a while as a HEALTHY Arthur... Thing is, I lost all my stuff. 😧 Thankfully I was able to resolve this using a save editor, however this save editor doesn't give all the dead-eye perks anymore than any of the native trainers, cheat engine tables, cheat happens trainer, or anything else. Thus I've been going to everything Red dead redemption 2 mod related and posting a request for a mod like this. Hopefully LMS will do it as I prefer his native trainer over the others.

Just something I've noticed, ever since the 0.9 update, the "mp_male" and the "mp_female" models both break when trying to use them, please fix as I liked to use this to create custom outfits.

I am having a bug where I can't max the bonding of my horse. It works for a couple of seconds but then it resets the bonding.

Edit: Found out how to fix it myself

    Hi

I like the option of change the time cycle very much and generally it works well. (better than Longer Day's mod based on AB Scripthook since it changes also the speed  the pocket watch is working).

But there is an issue with sleeping. Please anybody knows how to fix or circumvent this issue?

(The issue being when going to sleep while time cycle change is on, you will awake and NO time passed by. Even when you switch time cycle off and then go to sleep, then you wake up in the morning but after switching time cycle on again, the ingame time will revert to the time you last switched time cycle off.)

Another question is: Can this function be extracted from LST as a standalone? I don't want to use all the cheats availible in the mod I simply would like to prolong the days and nights in the game.

    Please help.

The best thing is to find a way to trigger certain sidestory missions or activities sooner. Those that don't have a direct impact on the main story but offer some cool rewards. like the legendary alligator in chapter 5, calloway's Gunslinger missions in chapter 4 to get his revolver,  Hamish (vet) missions of chapter 6 to get buell or Margaret (animal wrangler) missions of chapter 3 to get the liontrincket. I would love to do these missions in chapter 2 if it's possible and get the rewards for completing these missions early, especially the liontrincket and Buell. Now I know you can just spawn in those rewards with mods, but that doesn't have the same feeling. I would still like to earn those rewards by playing the story connected to them. It just sucks that you can only complete these missions so late in the game.

There was a 7GB update around the latest version of this trainer came out. I'm experiencing stutter and tiny lag after that. Any one else having any similar issues? I removed the trainer to test it and I thought it was the cause . I'm not that sure . Ill try again when i get some free time.

[Obligatory "please check your system specs and compare them to the game's recommended specs" and "try turning certain graphics settings lower" statements go here]

With that out of the way; sadly RDR2 has had a stuttering issue since launch on PC. They released a patch two patches ago that addressed this, but many, including myself, are still having issues with it regardless if mods are installed. I tried taking this mod out a couple days ago to see if it would help and sadly it didn't at all. Which is kinda nice, cause it's good to know it's not the trainer, but still. Hopefully Rockstar will continue to patch this issue. The last patch, the "Moonshiner's Update", added a bit more to the game, so that could potentially make it worse though I would think that would only affect Online play, and my RDR2 seems to stutter a bit less now, but who knows.

Things you can try though in the meantime - Idk if RDR2's port is like GTAV's, where turning settings down makes the game stutter more (because of the CPU bottle-necking the GPU when settings are lower than "high" or "ultra"), but if you can turn settings up, try doing that up to at least "high" settings. Also, try disabling "triple buffering" as that increased my fps and lessened the stuttering a bit. Always run v-sync if you have a beast machine, as the engine can actually fall behind from the GPU. I have to do this with my RTX 2070 or every game stutters because the engine can't keep up.
