Features

  • Over 19 different mission scenarios with different difficuly levels.
  • Dozens of different locations each mission can take place in the game's world.
  • UI for reviewing and managing your contracts.
  • Bonuses for hanging your targets using TieYourLasso mod! (minimum version 3.2.0)
  • Bonuses for harder and far away missions.
  • Some targets are wealthier than others, some are outlaws. Keep and eye for opportunities to make extra profit!
  • Game's missions are always in priority - you don't have to worry about conflicts with the mod's added missions.
  • Some contract targets will affect your honor.

Installation:

  • Download and install AB's ScripthookRDR2: http://www.dev-c.com/rdr2/scripthookrdr2/
  • Make sure you have an asi loader, it usually comes along with Scripthook.
  • Remove previous versions of the mod, if you have any installed.
  • Copy Contracts.asi and Contracts.dat to the game's main installation folder.
  • If you're interested in TieYourLasso bonuses, download and install it as well.

How to play:

  • Head towards the nearest major town (Valentine, St Denis, Strawberry, Blackwater, Annesburg, Tumbleweed and so on).
  • Keep an eye for peds offering you contracts.
  • Interact with the ped to accept it.
  • Head over to the mission's location and track down your target.
  • Assassinate it.
  • Escape the area if you're wanted.
  • Go to a post office and collect your payment!
  • If you don't like a mission, want to review your active missions, you are able manage your accepted contracts with the GUI: set up a camp or simply rest in place to open up the mod's menu.
  • Note: you can only have one active mission per town at a time.

Notes:

  • If you found a bug and want to report it, please attach your Contracts.dat and Contracts.log files.
  • Missions will be locked if their start location is too close to your's when you accept them, or if the game was loaded in their area.

Nice! I'll give it a try. Can we tell, before accepting the mission, if it will negatively affect reputation?

Nope, you just won't be able to accept contracts in that town for the next few game hours.

Trying not to reduce reputation from nearly completely good. So no way to know if carrying out the mission will give negative reputation? Can you tell if it will give you neg rep after accepting it? Or abandon it?

Accepting / aborting  / declining, won’t affect honor, only killing certain targets might.

This mod is brilliant because it auto-generates there'll always be something to do. Long may it continue and thank you. 🙂

Ran into a bug. Accepted a contract in Blackwater to stop a wagon and execute a prisoner. Rode about half way and set up camp but there was no 'Q' menu option to look at the contract. Stood and rested by the campfire again, still no option to view the contract. The contract was definitely on the map. I logged out and later logged back in and in game my reputation had dropped from full good to half way between good and bad even though I never completed the contract. The 'Q' option was still not available at the campfire.

I had done a previous contract and the option was available at the campfire and it didn't affect my reputation.

Taking assassinate citizen missions in St. Denis time out too quickly. Had two that I went directly to on horseback as fast as possible, given then St. Denis traffic, and they timed out just as I was approaching the area.

Doesn't say much, like I said I went immediately to the area and just as I entered it said it failed because I was too late.

According to the log file it was seven seconds from target spawned to mission failed. I actually never spotted the target, just arrived in the vicinity.

have you noticed if your target was mounted on a horse or a wagon?

was the mission area populated with relatively few npcs?

it seems like the mission has ran as expected (otherwise it would have been reflected in the logs.)

The only thing comes up to me, is that the target actually left the area very quickly which might have failed the mission quickly as well.

Never got close enough to see the target before it failed. It was middle of the day in St. Denis so pretty heavy NPC traffic. The thing in the log that got my attention was there was only seven seconds between target spawning and mission failing. That seems quite a bit too short.

Yea I agree. I'll try to think of a way to fix that.

I took the contract in Saint Denis and when I arrived it showed on the map that the target is underground and inside a wall.

am I doing something wrong or is it just a bug?

(the screenshot didn't capture that it is underground)

The mod wont work for me, when I a save of mine, in the center of my screen it reads, CORE: An exception occurred while executing 'Contracts.asi' (0x0000000001FF1030), id 31" and CORE: An exception occurred while executing 'Contracts.asi' (0x00000000011D9DE0), id 574. I doubt anyone may know what's causing this, I've acquired the latest version of Scripthook, I've downloaded the mod from several sites, yet it still wont work.

Pretty sure this mod is broken. I've accepted three different contracts and each time I get to the location, the target is nowhere to be found.

The mod is currently discontinued. There were some bugs in the first place, and on top of that some of the game patches along the way messed it up even more.

Right now I'm busy with some other projects and this one is currently on hold.
