RDR 2 Outfit Changer 0.5.1

Change player clothes and make custom outfits!
   (16 reviews)

Message added by LMS

Please note that you need to use the latest Lenny's Simple Trainer update (version 1.3 or greater) to use multiplayer models properly.

11 Screenshots

We are proud to release our latest modification for Red Dead Redemption 2: An outfit changer! Featuring all of the more than 1300 single player clothing items (and in version 0.2 all multiplayer components!), Arthur has never looked more unique. A word of caution: The component system in RDR2 is very powerful and even many parts of your skin are components which you might need to toggle to make body parts (re)appear! Please read the readme.txt file for more information on how the system works.

Features

  • Change clothing items in over 40 categories with over 10000 total variations!
  • Save your current outfit
  • Quickly equip saved outfits
  • Reset all your components
  • Change Ped Skin (see readme)
  •  Enable Multiplayer Assets (try changing your model to mp_male or mp_female using our trainer to access them in all your glory)
  • New! Change beard and hair length, untuck shirts and much more!
  • New! Customize menu key

Controls

Press F2 to open/close the Outfit Changer menu:

  • Up/Down to navigate the menu vertically.
  • Left/Right to change item options.
  • Enter to select.
  • Backspace to go back.

Installation
All you need to do is drag the files into your game root folder - the one where RDR 2 is installed.

  • The Outfit Changer is loaded from the same folder and shares many of the same files as Lenny's Simple Trainer but works without it.
  • When the game launches, you should hear a few beeping sounds, indicating that the mod is loaded.
  • RDR Online is not supported for modding.  Don't attempt to play Online with this mod.  Remove all files from your game folder before playing Online.

Configuration
Open the outfitchanger.ini file (found in your game folder) in a text editor to configure the Outfit Changer where you can:

  • Change the names of categories.
  • Name your favourite clothing items to make finding them again easier.
  • Manually edit/manage your saved outfits (although you can do this in the menu).

We are working on a Wiki page to document all of the clothing items.

To load any changes to the outfitchanger.ini file, use the "Reload Settings" feature in the menu.

Please don't upload or redistribute this mod, link here instead so that everyone has the most up to date version.

Please note that you are not permitted to sell configuration files for this mod. This mod is free and so should be your files!

This is probably just me being dense, but when i try to use mp hats on arthur, they float above his head. Any way to fix this?

    @LMS

Do you ever plan on adding the option to add eyebrows and facial stubble to MP Male Characters?

In the "Change Ped Skin (Can Break Outfit)" Menu, Outfit 29 to Outfit 49 all have preset characters with eyebrows, some outfits have a facial stubble as well. But when making my own MP Male character, there is no option to apply a facial stubble or eyebrows.

This character has eyebrows and facial stubble.

This is the same character, but without hair so you can better see the facial stubble and eyebrows. (Kinda looks like Ned Luke)

    This character has eyebrows.

It looks like these are applicable decals to the player model, which is what I'm looking to see added in the future for better looking characters.

Hi! So I just installed this mod and after another of troubleshooting (my game crashed every time started it up) it finally worked, however now I'm having issues with saving my outfits. When I click "save outfit" the says "outfit saved" but there's no outfit actually there? Any help would be appreciated

    Hi

Is it possible to use this tool to alter outfits for NPCs as well, not just the player? It would be immensely helpful

    Thanks!

    Can someone help me out-
I'm trying to customize SP models like mary beth or sadie. I change arthur to MP_Female then copy sadie or mary beth to myself. My friends all do this and it works just fine for them. But for me, the moment I put a different hair on it begins to stretch around and warp. I can't figure out whats wrong, I copied my friends files to a T and still get this glitch. I installed older versions of rampage and outfit changer to no avail.

All components work differently, there is nothing to "fix". You need to give yourself a skin component to make the forearms visible. Think of it as not them being invisible, but them being concealed by the prior clothing - they were never there. So you need to add them when you use components that do not conceal them. The component system in this game is immensely powerful and you can toggle virtually everything from eyebrows to legs.

You can create/save/load your own outfits!

Yes, components are gender dependent. There are no single player female components in the game, only variations per model. We will try to make the clothing items that are available in RDR Online work in single player in a later version.

hey guys can u help me with this error cause when i click f2 nothing showes up same with lennys when i click f3 despite hearing those beeps in the beggining

Hello there! I was wondering if there will ever be a scrolling feature added? Like, so you can hold down the buttons to scroll down quickly instead of mashing it a million times?

Or maybe a search feature like Rampage trainer has, where you can search for the names of parts?

That would really make the mod a lot easier to use. I use it a lot and I spend most of my time modding just scrolling through the hundreds of items to find the one I am looking for.

You are wrong. It works for me. If you have installed NPC Closet or another mod with Mod Loader, it is natural that the MP section will not work. Try uninstalling existing mods.

okay I'm having a weird issue whenever I try to use this mod; i hear the 3 beeps when the game is booting up but whenever it gets to the splash screen it signs me out of my Rockstar account which stops the game. what am i doing wrong here? because i feel like the game is detecting the "mp=true" changes i made to the ini and doesn't want me to get online. the same thing happened a few days ago with Lennys trainer whenever i made changes to the INI file.
