The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play RDRFR, can be found inside the RDRFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website. Please also make sure you have the latest version of our ASI Loader (version.dll) if you are encountering any issues.

Shoot it out with bandits, hunt down outlaws and walk the streets with a star.  RDR First Response (RDRFR) is an all new experience we've created specifically tailored for Red Dead Redemption which ties in seamlessly with the game, turning you into the law.

This first version of RDRFR puts the power of the law into your hands for the first time since Rockstar's flagship title arrived on PC.  Working in conjunction with our Patreon supporters and testers, we've built a number of core features into the mod for you to enjoy with the ability to arrest suspects, go on duty and request backup in a manner similar to LSPDFR for GTA V.  

 

Being tailor made towards RDR, though, there's a couple of key differences in RDRFR.  One of the new concepts we've introduced is for providing 'missions' or 'investigations' to the player.  Instead of pretending that police radios existed in the 20th Century, you'll now find that civilians within the world will summon your help the old fashioned way - in person, calling out loudly for the assistance of the law.  Similarly, there are other noticeable deviations throughout especially as it relates to arresting suspects and the interaction options available.  Instead of having separate key presses or buttons, we've tried to keep things as integrated with the game as possible: most of the features and actions in RDRFR are accessed or performed through the game's contextual prompts.

    I would love to see this get updated! Everytime I try to launch RAGEPluginHook it crashes while hooking the game, can't even get to the main menu but would love to play this

    Rage Plugin Hook does not work with the current version of the game, making this mod unplayable. It is unfortunate because it seems like one of the most flushed out and enjoyable mods for RDR. Hopefully the RAGE plugin will eventually get updated though I will not be holding my breath.

    Not working cause Bad Antivirus(no anti virus active) or insufficient rights(startet even in administrator mod)

    Not really sure what the issue is here. The rage plugin hook will just not start up. I have this installed with some callouts but it won't launch though Rage. Any help would be appreciated.

    To fix  this error go into your virus settings on windows and make an exception for the red dead folder like I have done in the picture. I know the text is in danish

    Hey@LMS, Trying to get RDRFR working, I can load through (out of date) Rage launcher, but as per pics in post a few up from here, the map markers are black squares and the RDRFR main hotkey just pauses the game and no menu pops up.  Unless im reading it wrong, you put a patch out for RDRFR on July 23rd, yet (from what I can gather from the comments) the Rage Plugin Hook hasnt been compatible with RDR2 since a few months and game patches before that.  Are you yourself still able to play this mod? or are you also waiting for Rage Plugin Hook to update? Thanks for your time.

    I seem to be able to get the mod running and working, but when I receive a callout and I accept it, nothing happens, nothing appears on map, nothings happening, the npc just stares at me and i can continue playing the game as normal, as of rn the mod is basically a "never wanted" mod as you don't get chased by police on mass murder sprees, and you can ask people to stop.. not really much else

    dang seems like one of the more interesting mods for red dead out there and we can't play it! Any chance the rage hook is ging to get updated. I keep getting Slow System or Insufficient Permissions. Even with doing all the fixes i cannot get it too load.

    just curious if this is a single player mod or if like GTAFR its meant to be played online in private servers?

    The GTA Equivalent can be played in SP, as can this mod too.

    This is a single-player modification, like LSPDFR.

    It simply wont load for me. Ive followed the instructions but when i go to launch the game it just quits.

     

    Do i need to take all other mods out?

    The Version.dll included with this mod does not work you need to get the latest one I used RDR 2 Asi Loader 0.2.2 and it worked.

    I see the last update for it was Feb 14 2020 on their patron, Is this still being worked on?
