The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play RDRFR, can be found inside the RDRFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website. Please also make sure you have the latest version of our ASI Loader (version.dll) if you are encountering any issues.

Shoot it out with bandits, hunt down outlaws and walk the streets with a star.  RDR First Response (RDRFR) is an all new experience we've created specifically tailored for Red Dead Redemption which ties in seamlessly with the game, turning you into the law.

This first version of RDRFR puts the power of the law into your hands for the first time since Rockstar's flagship title arrived on PC.  Working in conjunction with our Patreon supporters and testers, we've built a number of core features into the mod for you to enjoy with the ability to arrest suspects, go on duty and request backup in a manner similar to LSPDFR for GTA V.  

 

Being tailor made towards RDR, though, there's a couple of key differences in RDRFR.  One of the new concepts we've introduced is for providing 'missions' or 'investigations' to the player.  Instead of pretending that police radios existed in the 20th Century, you'll now find that civilians within the world will summon your help the old fashioned way - in person, calling out loudly for the assistance of the law.  Similarly, there are other noticeable deviations throughout especially as it relates to arresting suspects and the interaction options available.  Instead of having separate key presses or buttons, we've tried to keep things as integrated with the game as possible: most of the features and actions in RDRFR are accessed or performed through the game's contextual prompts.

    Pretty enjoyable, some bugs here and there when you go to arrest someone and they run, but other than that it's pretty solid.

    custom ped models doesn't work for me, I change the model in the ini, but in the closet there are always the same default models. Maybe it doesn't work with female models?

    You need to remove the # from the start of the line in order to make it work.

    Hey guys my ragepluginhook does not seem to be working. Whenever I try to launch it, it says  that an error occurred while updating (app configuration unavailable). Can anyone help me with this issue?

    Well it looks kind of not working on my game :

     

    If rockstar launcher already launche, crash of the launcher and of the game (the installation video says it needs to be already launched before to launch the hook if I got it right)

     

    To launch I need to launch only by the hook, without the launcher already launched, and launch the hook on administrator rights.

    [Oh and I also need to deactivate my Bitdefender as it consider RAGEPluginHook.exe as a malware, put it on quaranteen and lock all the RDR2 Files on "read only" unmodifiable without launching the computer again]

    And If I Manage to launch the RAGEPluginHook, and so the game, it works fine (if I don't look at the "Discord" errors, as said by Andy22296), but crash nearly 5 minutes after, in valentines, in front of  the sheriff office, If I accept a stolen horse mission (Wich spawned the 3 times I managed to launch the mod, and crashed also those 3 times [Crash of the mod in game, not a crash of the game itself]

    Do I have to beat a certain amount of missions to play this mod because ever-time I try go into the sheriffs office the door is locked?

    Try using the back door of Valentine, once you go on duty you should be able to open up the doors just fine. Or atleast that's how it works for me.

    I was able to get around this by starting the game on Steam, waiting like 2 seconds, and then clicking the rage plugin hook shortcut. After the game has already been started, it seems to not get stuck on that "Launching game on Steam..." part.

    Super excited to see where this goes. It's obviously pretty barebones now, but this damn this has incredible potential.

    Does First Response crash for anybody else with the stolen horse and wanted fugitive? The shootout works but those two call outs crashes it any idea why?
