Mod by pir2, not by me!
In real life you won't steal a horse by error. SAdly in Rdr2 you got no key to say mount my horse. Now you do.
Once on your horse set it as your main horse by pressing T (key can be modified in option file).
You will never mount anything but that horse by pressing T (E keeps on working as in vanilla game)
To change this mod options just edit the c#Plugins\MyHorseKey.opt file (with a text editor, notepad for example) within your read dead redemption 2 main folder (typically C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2)

The night sky in the early 1900s would be much denser than is portrayed by the stock version of the game. If you've ever been outside of a major city before, you'll know that Red Dead 2's star density is disappointing.
I took the dark nights mod by Alsharad and modified a few lines in each of the weather/w_ files in the timecycle folder. The results are great. I made a reddit thread about it. I got the initial values by someone on RDR2 Mods Discord. Again, I take no credit for this mod whatsoever, I am simply putting it out there.
The Milky Way strip is exaggerated for sure, and I'm not sure that there's anything that can be done about that. However, I feel it's overall worth it for the sake of the rest of the night sky.
If the screenshots don't demonstrate the difference clearly enough, I uploaded a video from when I only had the "High Pressure" weather file modified:

The short version:
This mod makes each weather type last longer, you can get random bad weather when you load the game or wake up, weather can persist while you sleep, or even when you quit the game.
The long version:
(You can customize everything below in the ini file.)
-Each type of weather will last longer.
This mod does *not* make it rain or snow more often, but when the game decides it's time for bad weather it'll last longer. There's also an option to make clear / sunny weather last longer.
The default values are only 2-5 extra in-game hours, if you want actual rainy days or thunderstorms that last all night you have to set your own values in the ini.
-Weather can persist while you sleep.
Depending on how many hours you sleep and how long the current weather is set to last, weather might persist while you're asleep.
-A chance for random bad weather when you wake up.
If you go to sleep during clear weather there's a chance that you'll wake up to random bad weather.
-Make weather persist through quitting / loading the game.
This can be a little wonky since the mod doesn't save while the weather is transitioning from one type to another (not always apparent if it's happening).
If your weather isn't restored when you re-load the game it's likely because of this. Might improve it later..
Also the mod can't differentiate one save from another. If you load up a different save the mod will load the weather from the previous save.
-A chance for random bad weather when load the game.
If your saved weather is clear/sunny (or you don't use the save feature) there's a chance for random bad weather when you load up the game.
Important-ish:
Since it can be hard to tell if the mod is working as intended, if you think you're experiencing an issue (mod not working, weather is stuck, etc..) please check the log file MorePersistentWeather.log in you game's root folder, you'll find some info about what's going on.
If it doesn't help or you actually found and issue let me know!
Also: For example rainy weather can (but not necessarily) be like this:
sunny > rain > thunderstorm > light rain > sunny
In this case the mod will activate three times, during each rainy type weather. Keep this in mind if you set custom values in the ini, they can add up and make bad weather last longer than you might expect.
Currently fast travel will reset weather as per usual.
Installation:
Download MorePersistentWeather.rar, extract it and drop the files into your Red Dead Redemption 2 game folder.
You're going to need Script Hook By Alexander Blade.

1. Determine your Visual Studio Toolset Version (Project -> Properties -> Platform Toolset)
2. Place the library (MeongDraw.v14x based on your platform toolset and the header (Meong.h) somewhere in your mod's folder

This mod skips the legal menu and the main menu and puts you directly into story mode. Since this mod tells the game to replace certain files, Red Dead Online is disabled when you install this mod to prevent the risk of being banned due to modified game files. Any attempt to connect to Red Dead Online will redirect you to story mode. Attempting to open the online menu in the pause menu will cause you to get softlocked.
NOTE: When the loading bar disappears, you will be on a black screen for a few seconds. The game is waiting for social club to sign you in. Story mode will start loading when you sign in.
Installation:
1. Download the zip file from the downloads page.
2. Extract the x64 folder in the zip file.
3. Put the x64 folder in your game directory.
4. The file explorer will say that there is a x64 folder in the game directory and if you want to merge the folder.
5. Click yes.
6. Done!
NOTE: The rockstar launcher may show a scary warning saying that there are modified files and that you may get banned for using online services with the modified files. Don't worry, this mod blocks you from going into online mode.
Uninstallation:
1. Go to your game directory.
2. Open the x64 folder
3. Delete the main_and_legal_menu_skip_data folder.
4. Open the data folder
5. Delete the startup.meta file.
6. Done!
Components:
These files can be found in x64/main_and_legal_menu_skip_data in the game directory.
legal_screen_patch.ymt - This skips the legal screen. Delete this file if you want to disable this. main_menu_patch.ymt - This skips the main menu and enables protections that prevent you from going online. Delete this file if you want to disable this.

I tried to recreate MacFarlane's Barn with Map Editor
You will need lml to load the map
The barn doesn't have an interior, the colors don't look like the Original but that's what I managed to do with the map editor.

In his file, there were some missing models so I decided to grab all of them from the database and placed them in his file.
You can play as any model, spawn or summon as a bodyguard.

The menu now opens with F3 instead of F5 Locations between { } are dangerous, you will teleport to a location where enemies might attack you or you might be trespassing. Locations between ( ) are located South of the river West Elizabeth and New Austin. You get the idea. Collecting some of the valuables before Ch 6 with the intention of selling them in Ch 7/8 won't always work; some valuables will be lost when The valuables I lost were: ALL gold bars and nuggets, Female fertility statue #02 which
and the Viking comb. All the rest will still be in your satchel. I would recommend leaving the Landmarks of Riches treasure to collect after Ch 6;
This may be the most important note: Don't try to collect all of the orchids prematurely. The game is programmed in such a way as to not make all of the orchids needed spawn before they are requested of you. You're only allowed to collect one less of each orchid requested BEFORE starting the respective Algernon quest. -i.e. 6 cigar orchids instead of 7, 4 ghost orchids instead of 5 BEFORE Algernon gives you the respective bill of requests-. So only collect one less of each if you intend on starting early and remember, they spawn randomly. You are, however, allowed to collect Gator eggs and ALL plumes prematurely if you wish.

Much like GTA V, RDR 2 also suffers from a "feature" where certain props in the game world are not loaded, namely those marked as "PRI_OPTIONAL_LOW". These are often small objects that add a bit more life to the scene, but are not essential. It could be something like another stack of papers, a plant pot or a barrel that are defined in the game files but just never loaded in. This mod fixes that and allows the game to also consider these props at all times and spawn them in, subtly enhancing your gameplay experience. Drag the file into your game folder and enjoy. Please note that you need to have an ASI loader for this mod to work.
Thanks to Yooungi who made me aware of this problem.
I have not tested this mod much (< 5 minutes), so if something else breaks, please let me know.
Please don't upload or redistribute this mod, link here instead so that everyone has the most up to date version.

This mod will let you turn on/off the red zones on the map. Now you can go to Blackwater and New Austin as Arthur without being WANTED!
After the notification appears at the bottom, press F7 to open the menu.
WARNING: The game will remember any changes you make with this mod, so back up your save file first!

An .INI file for Lenny's Simple Trainer, Adds all of the actions, Guns and more Models.
Installation: Go into the Rockstar launcher, Goto settings then click on "Red Dead Redemption 2" Then click on the "OPEN" button next to "View Installation Folder" Once the folder opens drag and drop the file(s) into the folder and either start the game or click "Reload Settings" inside of the menu 🙂
