This is a compilation of mods that includes:
 

  • Fast Start (Removed Intro Logos)
  • Remove War Horse Deed from New Game
  • Horse Deeds are Consumable
  • Reworked Dark Horse Top Speed

 

Instalation:
Just replace the files.
Probably in one of these folders:
C:\Games\Red Dead Redemption\game
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption\game
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Red Dead Redemption\game

 

Reveal hidden contents

Real Impact Authentic Ragdoll Physics (Tweaks)

 

Major update to improve ragdoll physics and reactions. Faster headshot collapses, guaranteed leg shot falls, realistic hand/arm shot staggers, smoother death animations, and enhanced horse death physics with faster, natural falls.

i dont get it, why would anyone want the horse deed gone? i didn't get one on mine actually.

War Horse is one of the few 3-star horses.
Very OP in the early game.

Are you playing Hardcore? You don't get one at the start of the game there.

    this is incredibly cool, just a small request, for when you figure out how to implement all the features: could you upload a different file, without the last two features? (consumable deeds, two star horses needing to be broken)

    Yes.
     

    For now the changes (v2) are as follows:
     

    content.rpf:

    Horse Deed are Consumable.
     

    tune_d11generic.rpf:

    Fast Start (Removed Intro Logos)

    Rework Horses and Mules Top Speed.

    First of all, nice mod 😄

    Second, do you know if there is a way to tell wich horse is wich inside the files? Im trying to make the breeds that I like to have special speeds but I cant differentiate them.

    But I have to warn you that the fastest horse (American Standardbred) is at the limit of what is acceptable.
    Making it faster than that makes the game "broken".
